Jokers dad with some tough words for Rafa

Rafael Nadal says his relationship with Novak Djokovic is good

Tennis: Rafael Nadal has replied to Srdjan Djokovic's claim that Djokovic and Nadal have not been friends since Djokovic has started beating him. Nadal says that Srdjan should ask his son about their relationship and told that they have always had a good relationship and they still have it.

World no.1 Djokovic's father had said in an interview that, “Rafael Nadal was Novak’s best friend while he was winning. When things changed, they were no longer friends. This is not sport. This is what Novak has in him, and they [Nadal and Federer] don’t have.”

He also added, “Federer is perhaps still the best tennis player in history, but as a man he’s the opposite. He attacked Novak at the Davis Cup in Geneva, he realized that he was his successor and was trying to discredit him in every way. Novak’s success is an amazing thing and something that one can not understand.”

But when Nadal was asked about his relation with Serbian Tennis player, he said, “If he wants to know how I get along with Nole, he should better ask his son.”

“My relationship with him [Novak] has always been very good and it still is.”

Nadal and Djokovic rivalry is one of the greatest of the game. They have already played 35 matches against each other, including 5 in the Grand Slam finals. They are the only players to face-off in 4 consecutive Grand Slam finals.
