Good bouncy or bad bouncy? A review perhaps? Please include corresponding babe pic.

Also, thoughts on Adrenaline?
Like Adrenaline a lot, I've been using the Ice Code to teach, I'm not really comfortable hitting with players my level with it. The ball just flies a bit too much for me.

You make ice code sound a bit like isospeed baseline.

Currently hooked on gut/poly setup and trying to find a poor man's full poly version of it.

Thoughts on Adrenaline vs Element as a more affordable alternative to Alu Power?

Hey J, what do you think about Head Sonic Pro (right side in your pucture) ? I like this soft playing string

What do you use now and what are you looking to accomplish by changing and what is your price range?

Klip legend 1.3/yonex PtF or max power cross 1.25.

A soft poly that doesn't suck at the net and maintains tension marginally OK (not a strIng breaker ). Above avg spin/power potential.

For example, I like RS Lyon 1.25 @45/43 but find it too low powered. It's also a bit on the higher end of my budget - I don't like it enough to want to pay that much for it. Maybe the 1.2? Hyper G is nice from the baseline but volleys are a struggle.

Last time I hit with isospeed baseline 1.25 I didn't mind it at all. Lost tension a bit too quickly though. Thinking of trying it at 1.3; unless you know of something better?

Intrigued by adrenaline, poly tour pro 1.3 and ptf 1.3.

Hi J011y, quick follow up question - I know you mentioned you're not a fan of gut/poly hybrids, but hypothetically do you think BBO could be a good option as a cross to go with natural gut mains?
Personally if you're looking to get more longevity out of setup, you may want to go with a dead, tension maintenance poly like 4G, max power, RS Lyon etc.

Had a good 2 hour hitting session today.

If I had to sum Element up briefly, it's a slick, no nonsense poly. There were no 'performance enhancing' traits, so to speak. I got what I put into my shots.

It's definitely piqued my curiosity.

Element rocks at the net. Volleys were sharp and punchy, backhand slices too. Feel was great overall.

Cons: I didn't get the nuclear power and spin from my forehand as I'm used to getting; and hitting taking the ball on the rise was erratic at times - the ball flew on me more often than not; then again my timing was a little off today, and I noticed not taking my little shuffle steps as I'm used to. It's not that soft, either, but comfortable enough in a 63 RA.

Will keep playing and see what happens as the string bed ages. I'm not a string breaker so this will be the next test.

@J011yroger - how does Adrenaline compare?

Stiffer, less powerful.
