Bought a good supply of regular Alu Power when they last went on sale, but I will keep that in mind when I run out!

You might also consider Tourna Silver 7 Tour. For a shaped, poor man’s ALU imitation, it’s pretty darn good. To be fair, it doesn’t provide as much magic as ALU (but what string does?). SST7 also holds tension longer and playability is more consistent throughout the life of the string, than with ALU.

i use the UT. Full ALU/ALUR is great

-what tension?
-I just strung mine with a dead 18g poly at 27 lbs (lowest tension ive ever used, was a total experiment),,
-im loving the low tension on this racquet
-freaks people out everytime they get to hit with it

48 I think? Maybe 46. I fluctuate tension by a few pounds based on the weather.

Curious if you've given Laserfibre Native Tour a try.

I was part of the RMP Power playtest, and the line I quoted from you pretty much sums up my experience with it. Native Tour is a similar feeling string, but with a bit more spin, and less string movement (i.e., no straightening the strings after each stroke).

And lets be honest: The main reason for this reply is so I could post the image of the girl in the white bikini...

Shouldn't it technically be a more translucent bikini tho? Not to be a smart*** or anything but the details in this case could be of interest...

I will also day Native Tour makes for a really solid cross string in basically any hybrid I've tried.

@J011yroger what grip size do you use? I know you have swapped out butt caps. Don't know if you have swapped out for a TK82s (on your older prestige)

My old ones were custom 9/16, they got a little small after the leather shrunk, so I actually preferred the 5/8 after a month or so. These are 5/8 tk82s, with 5/8 Wilson caps and no silicone they are a little big now but when the Wilson grips shrink they will be perfect, I am trying out the Head leather to see how it reacts.

I really want to be able to play with the mid.
The smaller I’ve played with is the PS 6.0 95, and it felt good but really not forgiving

Ok, good news; I didn't forget how to play tennis.

Hit with the Edge/Velo hybrid, it's ok but I either strung it a little too tight or it was due to it being chilly out.

I'll see how it settles in, but I thought full Lynx Edge was softer/more powerful so there is something very off.

For the record, full Lynx Edge was strung at 50# in my GPMP, the hybrid at 54# in the new Mid.

Also the Yonex Dry Grap is nice, but I will obviously have to test it further in warm weather where I actually sweat.
