Nothing spectacular, he said that Djokovic is very busy with lots of stuff outside of his tennis and that he really needs to focus on his career and that Murray had created tennis-fever in Britain and he said that Miles Maclaghlan had done a fantastic job with him.

Agree with you completely! I think the reason threads like this is getting started is because someone cant stand there favourite player getting owned by someone else, so then when something like this is said from Bjorkman people like this is fast to make a thread thats only reason is to try and make Nadal look bad. Why does it have to be like that? Both of these players have very good reputation, and are class acts allthough neither one of them is perfect, i guess that makes them human as well......Some people prefer Fed some Nadal, ok do we have to hate and try to find fault in the other....time to grow up!

Hmm, if those were Bjorkman's exact words then I'm kind of dubious about the credibility of his statement. Usually when well-known pros make negative comments about other players they keep the intensity down... but Bjorkman almost sounds personally offended and it makes me wonder if what he said extends far beyond a purely rational assessment of Rafa's character.

That said, I think Rafa's got a good character, from what I've seen/heard of him.

Who know? It might be personal? For the 567th time, I only forwarded what HE said. Nothing more nothing less. I didnt even spiced up his words.

Here's another Swedish pro's nasty comments about another player,,,Wilander, and what Safin said about it (after Bstaad)


He had to say about his old coach, Swedish Davis Cup captain Mats Wilander in the role as television commentator for Eurosport. He saw Marat's little sister Dinara Safina lose in the French Open in Paris in early June (Kuznetsova won easily).

— - I was disappointed at the Mats when I heard what he said in Eurosport on my sister. . He CLOBBER her overall and showed no respect for my family.
Mats was my coach for a year, "said Marat.

Marat continued:

- Mats literally killed her verbally. I was shocked when I heard it. It is tough enough for my sister to lose the finals, it was not fun for her to hear what he said. . For an hour he dissed her and said that "she didn't fight. she wasn't entertaining.

Bjprkman is not the only Swedish critic...too bad

It is a wellknown fact that Wilander is in love with the williams sisters and Justine Henin,he hates Dinara Safina and he hates Federer,he is also a hardcore Nadal-****. Unfortunately...because Mats was one of my alltime favourite players growing up as a tennis-mad kid in Sweden

Edberg is very impressed with Nadal,Wilander is in LOVE with Nadal, Soderling,Bjorkman wouldnt spend christmas with Nadal so to speak...what Thomas Johansson thinks of Nadal i do not know,because he is one of the tournament-directors of the Swedish Open in Bastad and he desperately is trying to get Nadal to play in Bastad. They gave him a WC when he was 17.

Unless he's changed his mind, when I spoke with Wilander, he had nothing but admiration for Federer.

That had NOTHING to do with being a diva,Federer couldnt stay with the rest of the athletes,hell,even Kobe Bryant asked Roger for an autograph!!
