As many of you have noticed, the Junior forum has been removed. Discussions regarding junior training, USTA rules and other junior development threads should now be directed to the Tips/Instruction section.

We will no longer allow the discussion of any specific junior players. Any threads/posts regarding specific junior players will be removed. Persistence in posting the names of juniors can lead to your account being banned.

Thank you,

Overdrive,

Yes, we will not reopen the Junior forum. You can however have discussions regarding junior training, USTA rules and other junior development threads in the Tips/Instruction section. We also will no longer allow the discussion of any specific junior players.

Please bring back the Junior forum! It's not working in the Tips/Instruction section. The qualified coaches/parents have left and it's just full of "how to beat a pusher" and "I serve over 100mph" threads. Ugh.

Bring it back and tighten the rules on discussing specific juniors.

I agree that the Junior Thread does not belong with the Tips/Instruction section. I think its too bad that people behaved so poorly to have it taken down. I for one would like to see juniors, not just coaches and parents, talk about their playing experiences/wins/struggles.

I completely agree.
Please bring it back and restrict those who brake the rules.
It's not fair that people can discuss adult tennis players which pretty much reached their highest level and ban juniors who are still developing to reach their full potential.
Ban misbehaved adults! Think about Kids! Change the privacy policy if needed to prevent any issues in the future! There must be another solution...

Kudos to TW for standing their ground. Keep the chatter in tips and instruction. I hated reading posters slam kids who are trying to be their best. This is a positive step and a strong message to tennis parents.

In general, this did not happen much. A few posters let their egos and poor judgement get in the way of productive/constructive discussion and now everyone else has to pay the price. It's not right.

The junior forum could of been named after one kid. All the posts always went to that same kid. If junior players wanted to post on ttw they can. It was always just insane parents in the juniors section.

That's quite an unfair generalization. There were a few bad apples, but plenty more of us as we'll as some qualified coaches who frequented the forum to help improve our kids' tennis.
