Hi there,

I've just bought an nblade OS for my wife on e b a y since she's really fond of the new kblade team (104). However, I can't see myself shelling out $200 for a racquet that we only play casually. Seller (tennistime48) was 100% with 128 feedback. Feedback shows that he'd sold several of these racquets to happy customers. I received it today. Upon inspection, paint job and layer seems genuine. However, I popped out the butt cap and there were no foam inserted like the ncode ntour I bought from TW several years ago. Also, the grommets on the racquet is smaller than the ones of my genuine ncode ntour racquet. I've included some photos. I'm no expert but i have an uneasy feeling about this. Racquet guru, please advise...thanks

I bought my racquet from "tennistime48" on e b a y. Item # 270591601145

You can find all the photos I've taken here.

I've included 4 photos as it is the limit at TW

Looks legit to me. If you take off the plastic on the handle, then unwrap the grip. If it's a wood-coloured foam then it's probably genuine, if it's black/pastic, it's fake.

Thanks. Took your advice. Handle is cream/yellow color that feels a lot like hard plastic. From your description of the wood handle, it's genuine?

It's good. Not all rackets are foam filled, not even from the same manufacturer. The ntour's one of Wilson's special frames in that it's actually foam filled (due to that nfoam thing or whatever). Not that many are.

Grommets also vary from racket to racket. It just depends on the model. You can't really compare across different models, just because every one is different.

In the future, a good indication of genuine-ness is how the inside of the handle looks like. If it looks good with a divider down the middle or is foam filled, you're GENERALLY in the clear. If it's messy, has no divider, is weird looking, etc, you've probably got a problem. However, this is only a rule of thumb and there are certainly exceptions.
