Just picked up some Nike Vapor IV and I thought you guys might like some real pictures to see what they look like in person. First impressions are they run a little small. I usually wear 9.5 in Nike's and I'd need a 10 in these. They are a narrow shoe so people with wide feet might want to try them on first but they seem comfortable right out of the box. These are a size 9.5 and pretty snug in the toe area.

Other impressions: seem like the toe drag stip is really thick which is a plus for toe draggers. Also these shoes have Nike's new XDR rubber compound for the soles which is supposed to last alot longer than DRC2.

they are $110 at any store. The more I wear these the more I realize how comfortable these shoes are right out of the box.

Wow, the new Vapors look really awesome in person! I may have to get myself a pair :)
Be sure to let us know how the XDR compound holds up!

i got mine a few days ago and felt they ran a little long actually...i got my usual size 9 and my toe ends where the toe drag part starts...length-wise they seemed to fit like the vapor speed and oscillates when i went to 9.5 in both of them...havent really walked around in them yet though...

Vapors Iv - No Warranty

Searched and searched shoe box..... Called TW ......
No 6 month wear warranty on these little boogers -SO- Nike must not think much of these shoes or they want to see if anyone notices-

(2) pair - 1 new and 1 warranty for $110 YES
(1) pair for $110 NO

Vote your POCKETBOOK and say NO- let NIKE know your opinion

Just cause there's no 6 month warranty doesn't mean Nike doesn't think much....just look at the Oscillates..I might be wrong but have the vapors ever had a 6 month warranty?

I vote yes

hmm, maybe I'm wrong then. They feel like my Nike Air Resolve size 9's so I interpreted that as running small. But maybe people should judge for themselves. I know the oscillates ran small for me also though and the vapor speeds were infamous for running very small.

Maybe Nike is serious about tennis shoes now....

These are the best looking Nike tennis shoes ever.

They also look like they can take a pounding and still stay solid, unlike almost every other Nike shoe, except the Oscillates I suppose.

BUT, no warranty?????

Then again, maybe they think this new compound doesn't need a warranty.

Yet, they offer a 6-month warranty on that lightweight version.

We'll see. They're sharp enough for me to take the plunge. lol.

Anyone in Australia got a hold of the new Vapors yet? I went to a Nike outlet and they had absolutuly no tennis shoes in stock I was kinda pissed off cos I had money n was ready to get sum new shoes. But he said all the stuff comes in after the Australian Open which i guess makes sense.

Think I'll stick with Barricade IV's.

Nike is overrated, IMO. Some look cool, but there is no comparison in comfort versus Adidas.

I guess if you don't play THAT much tennis, no 6 month warranty is ok.
If you have never turned in a pair of shoes, you most likely will not start now.

But if you run thru shoes, at $110 a crack, Nike should back these up just for the marketing- I mean, how many shoes do you really think they end up replacing ? and yeah, I bought a pair, seem a bit long but very very light.

I must agree...even though I am a Nike man. I have the Vapor 2 (the one Fed has worn the past couple years), the Air Oscillate and the Barricade 4. The Barricade are far more comfortable and seem more stable than even the Oscillate. The Vapor is a distant 3rd.
