Medvedev let the crowd at the AO know it was 'low IQ', screamed at an umpire, told the umpire he was stupid and used a euphemism to call him a pus-y after Tsitsipas started to give him trouble. He also told Cressy he was incredibly lucky and boring to get into his head just at this tournament alone. He very deliberately provoked the crowd by saying he looked to Novak for inspiration.

And let's not act like any of this was an aberration. His accusation that a black umpire and black player were colluding 'because black', yawning in Sinner's face to get in his head, poor treatment of ball kids and telling the crowd at the US Open that booing him was energy for him while also giving the finger...this wasn't just some nice kid with a dream.
