Hi all.

I just picked up a 2nd hand Dunlop Tour Pro 95 MW cheap from the big auction site. Going for £21 including postage so I thought I'd go for it. Trouble is I've got a bad knee at the moment so won't know for some time what it plays like.

Managed to get it on the scales and it weighs in at 340g (12.0oz) and is about 7-8 points HL. String pattern is 16x19. It has quite a long handle and flared bits around the throat. Head size is 95 sq in and it's a maroon and black colour.

Sorry but don't have a camera available and wanted to know what this baby's like. Anyone tried one?

I also got a 200G 95 MW cheap too (£30 with Wilson leather grip). Heard a bit more about this frame and can't wait to try both. In the meantime any thoughts would be appreciated re strings, tension etc for either stick.

Re-bump...

Played with both today. The TP95 was good fun and a nice frame, but I thoroughly enjoyed the 200G MW. Now going to throw my nBlades into the trash...

Hey, congrats. I have two Rev Tour Pros and a MW200G -- very nice sticks.

I don't think the Rev Tour Pro (matte finish burgundy and black pj) was a MW, though. Are you sure it says MW on it?

There is a lot of praise on this board for the MW 90/95. These are very low powered sticks with good control and plenty of feel. Very good for serving. I have the 95 and low tensions work well for me, in the low 50s.

Hi

This stick has me completely confused. Tried doing searches for it on Google etc and eventually came up with a pic from an obscure Dutch site, I think.

Maybe it's one of those European specific models but it definitely says MW on the stick and its cover. I will try to remember to do a photo.

Hi

I noticed it on the serving. After 5 minutes of getting used to it I found that the serves generated a lot of spin, which surprised me as I'm not to good with kickers and also it's an 18x20 pattern. Didn't quite get there with flat serves but with only 2 sets on the board there's still plenty of time.

Have to say the feel was excellent. It came pre-strung with Prince Syn Gut at mid to high 50s IMO. It's expensive to experiment with strings in the UK if you don't do it yourself, but learning to string is on my agenda and I will remember your comments when that happens. Many thanks.

Ack! Don't say that! That is not funny.

Send them to me if they're midplus and you're serious

No, it wasn't quite true - they haven't gone in the trash. But they have been donated to my 10 year old son who hit with them at the academy last night and so I think they already have a new home.
