If the Packers had even a halfway decent defense - which they might with Kenny Clark not injured...they might be able to go to the Super Bowl.

Right now feels like teams like the Rams or Cardinals would drop 40 on their defense.
Kyler Murray is no joke. I'm still sticking with Bucs and Packers. Mainly because I always take a wild guess and it's awesome when it comes to fruition lol.

I am surprised the talking head 'experts' are so high on the Seahawks though. That defense is terrible too. Possibly even worse than GB's.

Yeah, they definitely gave more separation than I have seen in awhile from the Pats, but that may be due to Cam extending plays. Honestly, there aren't really many teams that stick out as really good in the NFC right now, but there is a lot of potential as the season goes on.

A Seahawks Packers game even without crowds in the playoffs would likely come down to where it is. So home field advantage will be as important as ever.

Seahawks haven't won in GB in over 20 years.

In the AFC, I think Ravens look the most dangerous as of right now, due to Chiefs close game with Chargers. But Chargers always play Chiefs close, and often win actually, so I think we'll have to wait until Monday to see who is on top. Jon Harbaugh is a really good coach.

Agreed. Still think Cam looks great and the Patriots could beat anyone in the AFC on any given day. Rumors of the Patriots demise have been greatly exaggerated.

They have 1 more timeout on that final drive they're probably 2-0 right now.

So far they are actually the surprise good team of the NFL. Everyone thought they were due for a backslide, but now the team everyone picked to win their division turned out to be a turd, and they also get to benefit from having the woeful Lions and the Mitch Trubiskis in their division. They will have a good chance at the coveted #1 seed, which is arguably worth more given only 1 team gets a bye this year.

It's not really a surprise to me. The NFC North was always going to be trash yet again and Rodgers was unlocked after the Jordan Love draft pick.

The question is can the defense not vomit all over itself against an actual good team that won't allow GB to drop 40+ on them.

Yeah Pats are up there, but if you look at our schedule, we really could have used that last game. I think we gotta get Cam Newton an extension before he leaves us with a good record and low 1st round pick. Though if Pats keep using Cam for designed running plays, I worry that may cause future problems with him. He can still throw it, so let him throw and escape the pocket only when he needs to.

Yeah GB schedule is utterly brutal too. This weekend will tell us a lot more about the Packers than the first two weeks versus garbage teams did.

Honestly, I trust the GB defense more than the poor excuse for a pass rush that my ‘Hawks have thrown out there the first couple of weeks.

With the exception of their SB year Harbaugh is a regular season Vince Lombardi and a slight upgrade from playoff Marvin Lewis. He has a losing record except for the 4-0 run in 2012. The last two one-and-done misadventures are a pattern that needs to be addressed.

Maybe I jumped the gun there idk. Either way, I haven't really analyzed football enough to have a say on that one.

I’m hopeful that @stringertom ’s Super Bowl prediction from last year of a Birds-vs.-Birds battle royale was not wrong, but just a year ahead of its time.

You’re confusing me with somebody else. I know I was picking KC in the AFC and nailed the BaltimoreBirds hasty exit in the playoff pool I run. It helped me win the 4-week competition basically on my Week 1 results.

So many great matchups today and tomorrow night is the crescendo:

Rams at Bills; the first of the two battles of undefeateds; GOAT DL Aaron Donald tries to limit so far unstoppable QB Josh Allen

Raiders at Patriots; Chuckie returns to the scene of The Tuck Rule robbery, this time with a young talented crew surrounding an underrated veteran QB in his third season in the Ground Gruden system. NE is the team with question marks everywhere: can Cam keep his pace?; how deep is the secondary and line from COVID defects and injuries?

Cowboys at Seahawks; take the over with two Swiss cheese defenses so far going up against two loaded offenses

Green Bay at New Orleans; two 1st ballot HOF QBs in possibly their last matchup. One looks super focused; the other needs to answer some questions ina discussion with Father Time.

Kansas City at Baltimore; the second battle of unbeaten closes the weekend. The two most recent MVP QBs direct the Cadillacs of offense...so many weapons!!!

How can can he be underrated if he made the pro bowl 3x in a row and finished third in MVP voting without ever having a passer rating over 100 in any of those seasons?

Does questioning whether Carr is underrated count as nasty? You seem to be getting crankier and more sensitive my friend. I sincerely hope the lockdown is not getting you too down, and you can enjoy your escapes into the world of sports.

OKAY, arsehole! Take your copycat donquixote armchair Greudian analysis and shove it up your rather large ****. It has nothing to do with with pandemic impact but a shallow Hal like you jump to conclusions just like you lean on moneyball statistics ad your analytical crutch. All of that is what I’m tired of.

Like I said, enjoy the playground with all your other like minded friends.

please don’t bother to reply because you’re on ignore as soon as I finish.

Bills almost blew a 28-3 lead, but ended up winning it in the end. Disappoint.
