Hey Everyone,

There is currently a Babolat Alliance with 3000-something posts up, and there is a Dunlop appreciation society, yet there is no Wilson K Factor thread that I can discern even though it is an extremely popular racquet line and over 20 pros use them too! Talk about strange and backwards!

Therefore I am taking the initiative and starting TT's very own K Factor Club! It is open for anyone to talk about K Factor racquets, matches, bags, strings, grips, tennis clubs, tournaments, etc. Basically anything that could pertain to Wilson, K Factor, or tennis in any way is open for anyone to discuss. That includes racquet recommendations, questions, and more. I want us to shoot for being like a family and helping each other out. Unlike some threads I know (cough, cough - Babolat Alliance - cough, cough), outsiders (non-Wilsonians) are welcome to post on this thread. Just follow the rules I'm laying down for this future chat...

1. No obscene words or really mean things.
2. No insulting any other brand of racquets... unless you absolutely have to, but not K Factors:)
3. Post as much as you want... I want this thread to GROW LIKE CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! Tell everyone!!!!!!!!!

I'm not gonna go all medieval on you like Ross, and there is no official member list for this club. It's just an open discussion. Let's shoot for 3000-plus posts too guys! In like two years maybe! :)

I know I'm just 14 and kinda young to start something like this but hey! I love tennis and Wilson and I figure I have every right to:) Just bear with me, guys, and please don't leave me hanging. I'm begging you, post! Like crazy!

See ya on this thread! I'll start some discussions soon once I see how it goes!!!!!!!!!!!

YEAH K FACTOR AND WILSON!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like I said, you're welcome to post here, Sir Andrew. Just no insulting K Factor:)

You're my "friend," at least you don't seem to hate me, so welcome to my new thread! You can post other stuff if you want to!

My coach rates me a 4.0. I play #1 singles and dubs for my school in VA. I live up on the Eastern Shore about an hour below Delaware.

The x version HAS to be insanely powerful as heavy as it is and that monster swingweight.

Actually, no. It's got an awful lot of control and the power is COMPLETELY harnessable. I can turn it on and off at will. I can also place the ball on a dime and it's so easy to aim with the k95. Just think the place you want it to go and the racquet follows:) I hit balls exactly in the corners all the time for winners w/the k95. There aren't many racquets that can do that as well, or as consistently.

The "monster swingweight" just means it has great plowthrough and feels incredibly solid and stable thru the hitting zone. It's extremely headlight, thus extremely maneuverable, especially up at net.

I'm still in middle school but already 4.0 and approaching 4.5 this summer.

I don't like the k95x, it's too weird and I can't hit consistent, controlled shots with longer racquets for some reason. I'm just not cool enough:)

When I say k factor, why does everyone assume that only means K six one? I'm talking ANY k factor posts here! That includes K One-to-Five, K Brave, K Zen, K Six-Two, K Open, K Pro Open, K Tour, K Pro Tour, K Pro Staff, K Blade, anything guys! Post if you own a Wilson racquet at all!!!!!!!!!!!

The K90 and K95 are both good racquets but if I had to choose I'd go with the K95 because I perform better with it. Thats if I used a Wilson of course, my main stick is a Babolat APDC.
