K Swiss Bigshot II warranty question

I'm thinking of buying this shoe and I saw that it had a 6 month warranty. I know that nike will give you the msrp price of your shoe to you in a voucher but does anyone know how K Swiss works? Will they just send me a new pair and could I just get a voucher for what I paid instead? Also, does anyone know if these are good shoes? Thanks.

K-Swiss will replace the shoes, usually with the same, or similar colors. In the past I have requested other colorways and they have complied, but not always. I think you must include a check or money order for $5.00 to cover part of the cost of return shipping. They are located in California, so depending upon where you live, that can have an effect on the turnaround time. I have gotten replacements in as little as 10 days, and some have taken almost 4 weeks.
