K90 and grip size

I currently use a N90 with 4 5/8 grip. I removed the leather grip and installed a regular replacement Wilson grip. No overgrip either. I recently tried a K90 with grip size of 4 3/8 with 2 overgrips. I found I served better. I do not know whether it was the racquet or the smaller grip.

My question:

1. If I get an K90 and a 4 1/2 grip and keep the leather grip on and add a replacement grip on top of it, will it be smaller than 4 5/8 grip.

2. If I get a 4 1/2 grip and I decide that 4 5/8 is the correct size, what can I do to make it 4 5/8 without too much work?

buy the shrink wrap from TW for 2$, they come in half size and full size to increase the grip from 41/2 to 45/8.

most overgrips increase HALF size...so the 4 3/8 with 2 overgrips = 4 1/2

one thing to remember about "building" up grips, is that you lose the sharp bevels...the grip becomes more rounded.

i just bought 2 K90s with 4 5/8 and replaced with Wilson replacement grips...it feels SUPERB!!!

Don't forget that using shrink sleeves also add a lot of weight to the racquet.
