I am finding out more & more after spending too much $ on racquets, that swingweight varies significantly within the same model and swingweight is especially dependent on what type of string you have. I have now decided to go more on feel and static weight calculations from a digital scale. Sorry for such a subjective answer, but that is just my experience.
I have two Pro Staff 6.1's that are at least 7-10 pts. differential in swingweight.
I have two POG mid's that are at least 15-20 points differential in swingweight.
I recently bought a RDS 002 tour that had a significant difference in swingweight from the demo I played with.....
Really? I actually found the K95 being much more aggressive than the N95..at least that's the way I felt. It could be because of different string tension (K95 was 55 and N95 was 57), or maybe the fact that the k95 is a bit stiffer, but I definitely hit better with the K95, even though the N95 was much nicer in the control department (i.e. if I went for a line with the N95 I knew I was going to hit the line, while with the K95 I think I will, but in the end I wont!!)
Anyways, I did this test because I'm in the process of getting a backup racquet, and I found a store here that has both K95 and N95...But there's only £10 of difference, which makes me go for a second K95 (otherwise I'd have to buy 2 N95's, and I dont feel like spending £280 right now!)
I can't even find a store that sells N95 here man. But I payed about $75 for four N95 or about 50 Euro, I bought them from my old pro who was sponsored by wilson when he bought the new Kfactor line.
You see, that's a super deal! Here (London) K95 is £130 (=$230) and N95 is £120 (=$212), so that's not a super deal as you can see...
Damn dude. That sucks. Probably cheaper to buy here in the states and ship to you.
are they really? i can never find them.
Seriously. Anyone care to share where you can find one? i would love to get a 3rd (even for no reason).
