Kalinskaya Racket

Didn't mean to bump but was watching her match vs Raducanu today and I'm not sure if its the bright blue PJ of the new Ultras but.. it looks bigger? It was kind of cool that a younger player chose to go to a 95 (if the first few pages are correct) so was curious if anyone knows if she moved away from it.

Does not look bigger to me. Still has the N code bumper and pws. I thought she would move back to Yonex like many other players with Ezone’s success. But her strokes are short and compact so 95 works well. Her serve could benefit from a bigger head size though especially with her height since she does not hit it over 110mph. Wilson promo ads has her holding an Ultra 100 with no pws.

Little More power. The closest similar racquet today to the nCode I know of is the Ultra Tour 95 which also comes in 100 16/20. She can give it try.

I have all three of these and can feel the differences. For some reason the Ultra tour is only sold in Japan. It is better than the confusing Ultra V4 and V5 lineup sold in the US.

On the issue of whether the tour 95 is really a 95, I studied with a girl which played with the wilson k tour 95 (which, I assume, shares the same mould with the ncode tour 95?) and we both snapped strings while playing on adjacent courts and I took her racquet for restringing. At that time I was playing with the dunlop mw 200g (which is a true 95) and the tour 95 was noticeably bigger. I bet that if you compare it to a ncode 6.1 which is a true 95, the conclusion will also be similar.

Why Wilson needs to lie about what racquet pro uses is beyond me if they have the similar mold she uses for sale already like the 6.1

Was it head or Wilson that faced a lawsuit bc they did not use the term “endorsed by” when promoting players to their racket line/cosmetic? Thought if was years ago but yeah…

Probably Head, not sure. +Also, Head with Titanium - bc there was near zero or actually zero titanium in the layup.

Trained several girls that played D2 and D1 collegiate tennis with that Wilson Ncode Orange/white frame. I actually got it on contract one year with USPTA. Incredible power.
