Would be interesting to know, though it won't help us play any better or worse to try his specs out.

Yes you're right above

It looks like the frame he was showing Novak and Borja was a head frame

Maybe head made an offer

Novak told him when he switched from Wilson it took 1.5 years and he lost so much time
This was in 08 09 when he changed and Novak mentions it

In tennis tv´s youtube channel you can watch the practice courts live and today a while ago when Novak arrived and saw that Karen was holding a different racket (test possibly) Novak told him "don´t f....ing change anything!!! I´ll tell you from my experience" hahaha
Thats hilarious. Has anyone recorded that part of the live stream? Would be interesting to watch.

Getting rid of Wilson is a great switch for him imo.

Great for him?

He’s playing the best of his life and just won a Masters 1000 beating several top ten players in a row and capping it off w beating #1 in the world.

Yea - making a racquet switch right now is a great idea.

When I feel I’m improving, I buy myself new racquets

From today’s practice session with Thiem. From the second pic it looks like some sort of prestige mold with the Y shaped throat, but non cap grommets. Could also be some radical mold but the throat does look pretty Y for a radical

Kinda hard to tell from the photos because the image with the best chance to see the frame is a bit blurry, but it looks like a bit more like a Prestige to me, imo.

Yea that's what I'm thinking as well. Has there been anyone on tour who has played with a prestige mold without cap grommets?

Surely he's been reading these forums and got inspired to try out a new racquet.

I have decided that I won't speculate or rely when it comes to players with Blade Paint Jobs. Because no one ever really knows. There is never a majority consensus. And yea.. so I'm just going to say he plays with the green stuff.

And I just thought you all should know that I feel that way from here on out.

Wilson is really the only brand that has taken it to this kind of stupid degree. I will never use a Wilson for this exact reason. I know other brands do it. But they do it much much less. Wilson takes all the fun out of it.
