KBT and MG Prestige similar?

A guy told me the K Blade Tour is almost the same as the MG Prestige, just a bit more head light. Is that true? I've only hit once with the MG prestige and it was a couple of years ago. How do the two compare?

I will assume its the MG Prestige MID that is in question.

I've hit with both briefly and to me they are different feeling sticks. Sure both are players racquets with high control and low power, but they have differences that def can be felt. Demo if u intend not to regret a full purchase.

off the top of my head, the wilson's got that typical stiffer crisper feel and from what I remember it was a bit heavier. The MG Prestige Mid seemed more silky smooth flexy with a sorta dampened response. The wilson seemed even stiffer cause it was a full bed of poly strung high. I dont get why this shop by me strings so high with small headed stiff frames. Anyways just try them to see which works best for you.

Yeh, they are about as similar as I would be similar to a top 20 player.
The kblade tour albeit stiffer and less comfortable doesn't make the ball "go" as well as the prestige mid...so it's a lose-lose situation.
You get stiffer, less comfortable feel, less power and a smaller sweet spot...all great qualities for a tennis racquet (NOT).
The MG prestige mid is a good racquet if you can handle/like the specs and/or feel, the KBlade TOUR is not worth the money IMO.

almost a night and day feel between the two. I thought the KBT had more power and spin access, but the MGPM had much better feel and consistency. Two different racquet for sure.
