KBT vs. ROK

Anyone tried both before?

i just played today with both and i have to say, the KBT has hints of its predecessor, but i feel like the ROK is a bit more powerful.

i can see the control aspects in both sticks, but it just seems like the ROK had a little more power.

i know that everyone says that the ROK is a crazy control racket, but does anyone agree?

i mean, it could be just the strings,
ROK had a Poly/Synthetic Hybrid at Mid tension
KBT had Sensation 16 at 57 lbs

comments appreciated.

thx!

i used to own 2 ROKs and played with the kbt before. i found the ROK to really be a "crazy control" racquet, sometimes too much control. I didnt like the feel of the racquet and, in all honestly, it felt like a failed ripoff of the prestige. i think the kbt is the far better racquet and has more power.

the feel of each racquet is also distinctively different. the ROK has a slightly flexy feel similar to the prestige, but it just comes off as feeling unstable. the kbt feels like the hps 6.0 imo, like that tinny feel.

the ROK seems fairly accurate in precision.

i can see how it's a knockoff of the prestige in a way.

it does seem pretty flexy as well. maybe a little more playtesting and i'll see.

but it really could be the strings. or the Hypercarbon series itself, which do seem a bit powerful.
