Hey Talk Tennis people!

I'm starting a blog series on everything you ever wanted to know (and more) from our team of playtesters at Tennis Warehouse.

Feel free to email (or post here) any questions (feedbacktw@tennis-warehouse.com) you have and want answered, whether it be about equipment, apparel, court rituals, tennis, etc.! We are fortunate to have such an awesome group of all levels, ages, backgrounds, etc. So I can assure you that the questions and answers will be fun to read.

The question I think is (always) interesting:
Who do you find the most attractive player in the WTA or ATP?

Attractive in the way he/she plays or just physical appealing ;-)

Spencer's right but he cracks me up: "This is not such a simple question, as the human mind and emotional reactions to music at certain times can be a complex matter. Before a match, and depending on who I am playing, I may be seeking different things at different times to get inspired, thus I had a difficult time trying to narrow down just exactly what motivates me musically..."

But I most agree with Chris: "...it would be something relaxing as I tend to enter matches very pumped up and so it is better for me to try and chill out before I play rather than getting even more pumped up.”

I don't know who Karly picked.

Troy appears to be with the rest of the TT folks in the WTA picture thread. Haha.

Wow, 4 people picked Serena Williams? That is pretty much of a cop out right there. :(

I'm surprised no one picked Federer (I know he hasn't played doubles since the Olympics but still), or any of the top 5. :p

Karly picked Richard Gasquet!

I don't think picking Serena is a cop out at all...she would be a legit doubles partner...she's racked up a few doubles titles to go with her singles ones. ;)

Karly picked Gasquet? Make sure she checks him to see if he does not have any cocaine in his possession... :eek:

Seriously though, he is a great player. I hope he gets out of the 'journeyman mentality' and actually win some ATP titles! :)

You don't think picking Serena is a cop out at all? Serena is in Goddess mode! :)

I wonder who would the male playtesters pick if they wanted to play Men's Doubles..

I also like Granville's pick... Julia has the most beautifull serve in the world (see avatar) :)
But I seriously could not play my best tennis with her... continually thinking doing the Bryan-bros-bump :evil:

I would pick a doubles-specialist with humor and I think that Roberta Vinci will fit that bill.

I think I'd still go with Serena! :) Kidding. Kind of. If I had to pick a guy to play with, it'd either be Rafa (he's a lefty, I'm a righty) or Dr. Ivo (Karlovic). His serve is ridiculous and he has quite the sense of humor. Follow him on Twitter if you don't believe me.

-Chris has the best answer. :) Michelle gets 2nd place because the KT tape helps with her wrists issues.

- Never heard of the Pro-Tec massager.

- Oh no, Tiffani uses the Hello Kitty dampaners? :oops:

- Brittany, I was looking at the trucker hat, and I see that it has around 50% ventilation? Health physicians advise people that wear hats to use the ones that provide ventilation around the entire headgear to avoid any forms of heat issues. Other than that, cool that. ;)

We have Talk Tennis playtests going on throughout the year -- currently we have a Fitsock and TournaTac playtest going. We also will have various string and shoe playtests and even the occasional Talk Tennis racquet playtest. So keep an eye out for those!

As for us, the playtesters, we all work for TW in various roles and are lucky enough to get to review and test the new products. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it! :)
