Keeping Wrist Laid Back

Today during a practice session, I realized that I can't keep my wrist laid back during warm ups. I usually can hit a pretty solid forehand during an actual match but my wrists are quite sore before the match even starts because I break my wrist a lot during the warm up.
The reason being, during warm ups I'm not trying to hit monster forehands, I try to refine my technique a bit and keep that racket head speed a lot slower. However I tend to break my wrist when I don't get a lot of racket head speed for some odd reason. (I'm weird like that)

So my question for you guys is how can I constantly keep my wrist laid back whether it be a fast or slow forehand swing.
Another question, are your wrists suppose to feel sore if you break your wrist during a forehand?

something weird is going on if your wrist are sore just from warming up. I think your racquet may be to heavy or to light or to stiff for you. maybe even your string is to tight. maybe you have a wrist issue because I just don't see how your wrist breaking in a warm up should hurt at all, ever.

anyway, when I play my wrists always breaks when I swing at groundstrokes so I can produce enough pace. the exception being if someone cranks the ball real deep then I might just try and block it back. on serve return I tend to stiffen my wrist and just try to control my shot direction and use the servers pace to get the ball deep.
