Kerber blacked out racquet

I’m watching the Kerber vs Muguruza match in Perth. Kerber is still using her “blacked” out Yonex racquet with Yonex writing on the throat and Yonex stencil. Can any one explain to me why Yonex hasn’t given her racquets with the new red VCore paint?

Problems at the paint shop, perhaps?
If there is a new for 2019pj, they may not want her to use the new cosmetic until Jan 1st.

shes been playin with this blacked out paint job for a while now,, all of 2018 i tought,,
looks cool actually, but maybe we'll see a pj in australia,,
i saw her playing with the black version still at the "perth" tournament,,

arent those new vcore pro frames nearly black? Kerber obviously doesnt like the Yonex name on her racquets.

There are a bunch of blacked out, stenciled Yonex frames being shown on Tennis Channel. Can't remember all the players but Tiafoe is probably the next biggest name.

Heard that this ist beacause of contract issues since end of 2016, paint does not matter.
If it’s contract issues why is she still using Yonex stencil?
Sure it does. If it didn’t Federer would still be playing with the black/white RF97 instead of the all black.

She doesn’t play with the VCore Pro paint
agreed, i was trying to illustrate the differences with the yonex model with black paintjob she is using thus far, and the vcore.pro thats available for us to buy
someone above had mentioend that it looked like the vcore.pro.. TW has her playing with a yonex.SV model, "but all blacked out"

i own 2 yonex models
1yonex vcore.tour.g.310, 16/20, 8mains throat piece
1yonex.vcore.dual.g.310, 16/20, 8mains throat piece

whats interesting, its that they both have the same "y"design,
notise the round corners/poitns of the "Y", recessed inwards (you see it best on the red/white pics)
whats interesting, is that this recess is gone/missing on the newer models after the dual.g models,,
so im thinking its an older yonex vcore model, prior to the vcore.tour.gs i have
but also its a 16/19 model with only 6 mains on throat

Either special pro stock Duel G 16x19 drill pattern or he skips the top cross to make it 16x19 instead of 16x20

Lets say: Kerber still wanted the SI Paint, Yonex an actual Paint, so this is the compromise.

I don't blame her for not allowing the red cosmetic. She had a great season with an orange paintjob, then had her worst season when she went with the red VCore SV cosmetic. If I were her I would swear off ever playing with a red racket again, too. Bad karma. She's blacked out her racket, it has YONEX printed on the hoop, etc., but she's not changing colors every season. Black is black. She's playing well again. I don't touch it.

It's a 100S, right? Shorter handle. She hits so close to her hips.. and so low to the ground.. that smaller handle really compliments that style, right?

From the google translated site :

"The galaxy black glitteringly glittering and gleaming will be on sale this time, Queen Wimbledon A · Kelber (Germany) in 2018 has started using this season early. "I also liked the feeling of spinning the coat deeply penetrating the coat and a delicate shot, I also liked the hit feeling."

Oh hell, yeah. Life is short, I'm in

Do you think racquet company reps lurk this forum and just laugh and laugh at the .01% of the tennis population on here that knows/cares about paintjobs?

No, they are horrified by us that know what’s under the paint. That Vcore 100S looks great all black. No aero fins on her racquets.

The 100 S is only 26.5 in length. There are pros that play with shorter racquets/handles. ... Gasquet is another, I think.

Look it up on any of the more recent sites and it's length is 26.5 I am pretty sure there is an old thread that I remember around the 2015 Brisbane tournament where the 100S she had was confirmed 26.5. Surely I am not making this up.. someone else on here has to remember that. Or I've just been a member for too dang long. They cut the handle length to be at Kerber's desired spec is what I remember. Because her shots are so compact and to the hip.

I can't find the TW link but the last Vcore 100s' they sold were this length.. surely TW can confirm that.
I also owned the 100S for a time.

That’s a different racquet. That’s the Vcore SV 100S. The orginal Vcore 100S with the “S” stands for spin. With the Vcore SV 100S the “S” stands for shorted length. You’re confusing the 2 different racquets. Kurber uses 27 inches Vcore 100S as in Spin.

Introducing the VCORE SV 100S! With this racquet Yonex gives rising juniors and adult beginners the perfect tool for improving their game and maximizing their potential. At only 26.5” long, this racquet provides maximum mobility, making it easier for any player to control the racquet’s angle and speed through contact. To increase stability, Yonex uses its Trans-Weight System, which moves weight to the head of the frame. The result is a racquet that not only feels more stable at impact but provides easier access to power. Yonex also gives this racquet SV Frame technology, which combines a flexible carbon (called Nanometric XT) in the frame’s upper hoop with a speedy, more aerodynamic beam shape in the lower head. To reduce wind drag, Yonex adds its New Aero Fin grooves to the inner and outer section of the frame's head. Taken together these technologies provide greater pocketing and easier racquet acceleration (two features that definitely help with spin production). On groundstrokes this racquet swings with remarkable ease. The Isometric head shape makes this stick feel decidedly bigger, juicier and more forgiving than a conventional 100in² frame. The open 16x18 string pattern not only provides easy access to spin, but it adds extra comfort and power. At net the shorter length gives developing players the tools to hit effective, well controlled volleys. The short length also helps on service returns where this stick comes around with lightning speed to deliver a very accurate response. Yonex has created the perfect tool for developing players who want a racquet that delivers ultra easy stroke production.

Thank you for setting me in the right direction. I can't believe they'd just throw the S on the end to mean two different things. I know with Head the S means SPORT.
I feel like a big ole idiot now.. more so than normal.
So if you want the 100S the Kerber uses now.. there isn't an SV version? You'd have to get the older version?
I legit got the SV 100S Version thinking this was Kerbers. I did pass it along to someone else, tho.

You should get yourself a real Vcore 100S
