This guy is the biggest fraud in all of tennis. I can't stand him. I understand why Fed fans hate him. He plays absurdly boring tennis, has zero personality, and all of his psychology crap is so fake. You can tell he took some sports psychology 101 course and is trying to trick himself into thinking he's good. All of his "come on"s and fist pumps, and his ridiculous comment that he thinks he's as good as peak Bull and Federer. What an absolute joke. He probably thinks he's equal on grass to Sampras too.

Does anyone else find his little psychological pump-up to be completey embarrassing? You're a pro, not some 2.5 clown who needs to be congratulated every time they win a point.

Also, I question his stamina. This guy is built like a storch and yet he's out there outlasting Federer and Isner, showing ZERO signs of fatigue. Nope, something is up!

He used to be a huge choker, now he's the most clutch player on tour? This is only because he knows he can trust in his unlimited stamina. He's 32 but suddenly is never tired and has complete confidence in long, long, long matches? He never once has an issue with his legs in a 6.5 hour match? He's a GIRAFFE. Test him NOW. Isner only lost because Isner actually has human stamina, unlike Anderson.

I don't buy the Kevin Anderson BS and I can't wait until he crashes and burns. FRAUD!

I can't wait until Bull or Djokovic absolutely roast him again in the final. Hopefully 6-0 6-0 6-0.

Zverev is more likeable than this fraud.

Afraid of his idol not facing him I suspect. Anderson's effectively coming off a 6 setter and an 8 setter in consecutive matches.

His constant fist pumps are a tad annoying, but it works for him. Seems like a intelligent and nice guy.

He was told to do it by the sport psychologist he got onboard to help him overcome his confidence issues on court. Becker mentioned it in the commentary.

He's always going to be described in negative adjectives due to the horn effect, no matter what he does.

Are you a troll poster? I'll take the bait.

The fact you took the time to create a thread about Kevin Anderson and spend so much energy finding ways to put him down is more embarassing. Get a life dude. Kevin Anderson has proven that he is more than a big serve in the past year. Yes his US Open path was easy, but this Wimbledon has proven he can take down the best players when he is playing good tennis.

The dude is ripped btw, very athletic and extremely low body fat. I would wager he is fitter than most tennis players.

Zverev is cocky, Anderson humble. If you find Zverev more likeable then it explains your attitude pretty well.

Looks unbeatable on set 5. If he brings the final to 5 sets just bet him.

Anderson’s boat is floated by endless fist pumps and come ons.

Rafa’s boat is floated by picking his undies out of arse, wiping his imaginary long hair off his ears and so on.

Each to their own, as they say.

Been a big fan of his since 2014 where he really came into his own, and played one of the matches of the year with Grigor in Canada. He seems like a really nice guy, and more importantly he is (or can be) far more interesting to watch than most of the other big servers. He moves way better than everyone else around that size, and tends to make more effort to get to net (though he seems to be doing much less of that right now).

I wasn’t actually attacking OP even though I thought he was a RAFA fan. RAFA just has so ridicilous and neurotic rituals that he makes the greatest example.

Great poast. Props for contrasting the dour, objective title with a seriously hot take. I didn't think it was possible but somehow, simultaneously, I agree and disagree and support all of it. Just quietly, I think you could be the heir to 60s weed's crown.

What do you think, by the way? Korda going on here? I have enjoyed Anderson's Wimbledon story but there's something too good to be true about it. Or maybe I am just an incurable cynic. Still, back to back marathon five setters is ridiculous.

Not talking about Nadal here, though. Just curious about Anderson BECAUSE this is a guy who used to hang his boots in a 3rd set if things weren't going his way. No agenda here, but if you want to believe there is, go right ahead.

I don't believe in agenda (from your part). His case might get a bit suspicious if plays another marathon match in the final or routines RAFA/Novak. But he blew many of his matches mentally rather than physically. Both the guys he beat were older than him with Isner sucking at (extended) deciding five-setters and Rog being an UE machine.

It was more that he lasted through to the end of an even longer fifth set against Isner. As I said, maybe I am too cynical. But it's just unusual.

It's very unusual. What's most unusual is that, besides showing zero fatigue, he had unlimited confidence. As if he knew he had unlimited stamina and could go on for another 6 hours. He was playing like it was set 1.

He seems like a pretty good guy who has an amazing, really supportive wife. He's maximized his ability and improved his ground game. Who would has thought Kevin Anderson, at the very least, would be a two time major finalist. Not me.

Come off it, man. Takes a lot of hate to want a guy like Kevin to lose and you can't fake it even in troll mode. He was so overwhelmingly nice to Isner, saying something like he would have accepted a draw.

Come on, don't think anybody can be just tricked into believing in himself for 5-6 hour long marathons out on the biggest courts of Wimbledon. He has been building up over the last year or so, has been winning more consistently. Now this tournament is like an exclamation mark on his progress.

Petr Korda was banned for steroids, does he look like a muscle man? McEnroe also took them and he was 5'11, 155 pounds.

    Great.

When Ralph,Fraud,Novack,Mugray win Back to back BO5 matches they are gods and GOATs.

When any players fades in an extended battle against the big 4 ,they are MUGS

When somebody comes along who is ready to battle till the end, he is doped ,no?

    Nope we don't.
I loved the match with Isner and am happy for him. He seems classy to me.

So what? It works, who cares which or what psychology he uses.
I wish Federer would take a page from his book, since he won't take it from Bull;s book.

That comment was a little off since he almost lost in straights.

Agreed, I love it when Bull fistpumps on 15-0 in each game, and does cartwheels on the court at 30-0 etc but can't stand it when anyone else says Come on. Such frauds. They should just STFU (except BULL).

He never said it. but yes, let's slam him for that as well. You never know, he could say it some day. Or even think it.

I think you meant "stork". Even Federer is built like a stork. But yeah, how can anyone other than Bull play a five setter and not be on something. We must investigate all people who won a five setter not named Bull.

Wait, what is he a fraud for? For a remark he made. For saying Come on instead of Vamos ? I am all for declaring everyone a fraud (other than Bull who I am also a fan of) but I need to know that reasons.

Maybe OP's pop psych had a rebound effect on him.
