Kevin Anderson - USO title contender?

Now that Kevin have beaten Murray (who was a big contender), do you see Anderson as a contender for the USO title?

I mean, personally i think he can beat anybody when he plays his best tennis (as he did yesterday)...

Do you guys think he has a chance to at least be in the final, and eventually take the title?
Also, it could be nice with thoughts on his performance against murray ;)

Would like to see Anderson make the final at the least, he's not made much prize money compared to the big boys, and he'd get his ranking up and a nice pay day. A new champion is always good, I think Djokovic is too strong however.

The problem Anderson has, if he makes the final, probably against Djokovic is that he has a small time-frame until Djokovic figures out how to read the serve. He'd need to get it done in straights. He needs to worry about Stan first, who he can surely trouble. Stan's ROS is questionable at times, he's going in with a shot at least.

I think he's a threat to both Wawrinka and Federer. Meanwhile Cilic is a serious danger to Djokovic. We may see the defending champion vs the first quasi-American in the finals since 2005. Would be pretty cool.

I think Cilic will get an absolute thumping against Djokovic.

I don't think there's any way Anderson is getting past Fed. Are people forgetting Federer's double breadstick beatdown of Anderson not three weeks ago?

Has Kevin even won a set against Fed ?

Kevin beating Fed is the least possible event that could happen in the rest of possible match ups, with Fed-Gasquet next

It's possible, but a long shot - yeah he can beat anyone if he is playing at his very best, but can he bring that level for 3 more matches in a row?

If he does though, he will have earned it - he would have beaten the top four players in the word in a row!!!
(Assuming Fed and Djokovic don't lose earlier, and using live rankings where Wawa has already overtaken Kei.)

The guy has a chance like all the 6 guys left in the draw do.

My concern for him would not so much be his tennis, but whether the occasion might be too much for him on his first attempt.
