I am trying to find some sort of instruction or even a step by step pictorial of Edberg's kicker. Would like to experiment with adding a weapon like this to my arsenal, but am not able to locate good
"how-to" information. Can anyone here point me to some online or published resources?

    Thanks so much!

I'd recommed getting a few DVDs from ****. Several sellers have Edberg matches with good quality. That's probably the best you can get.

The basics in his was this (as I've interpreted the DVDs):
    1) toss well to your left and into the court. High toss.
    2) Open up the racquet face by curling your wrist. Full Eastern backhand grip. Your shoulders should be turned so that your back is partially against the court (not as much McEnroe, though)
    3) Lean into the court using your left leg for support. Lean in so that you're under the ball, it should be slightly behind your head (and to the left) at contact, not in front of your body.
    4) move back leg to pin-point stance and thrust upwards hitting 7 to 1 (that is, racquet moves along the baseline rather than into the court.)

I hit my serves like this. You get an enourmous kick and still high speed.
