I often wondered why Stosur ends her kick serve in position 6.

I hit a few awesome kick serves today and naturally did she did as well. It's an awesome feeling.
Some of the things that helped me was:
1. toss, toss, toss, and toss. I think this is 80% of a kick serve.
2. Thin gauge multifilament/natural gut with a good feel racket (no tweeners). I bought different rackets to try to spin my kick serves today and I have to say that the tweeners generated more spins more easily but I couldn't feel it.
3. Doug King's serve video. He's the man. Basically, his video says a tennis serve is like throwing a basketball to someone. (you must watch the video itself). A serve is a stroke. It's not a swing. Amen.
