Grass is considered Kimmie's worst surface. She has looked pretty good in the early rounds though. What are her chances at this Wimbledon. The key match is probably her quarterfinal with Sharapova. In the event she comes out on top in that, she would be looking good to make the final.

It seems she has made Wimbledon and the Olympics her main priorities this year. She wants to make a desperate push to win atleast one of them in her final career. I would have focused more on the French if I were her, but who knows, it might pay off for her.

who knows. wta is full of mental clowns. sharapova just won rg because every decent player fell over early. same thing could happen here for kimmy

I hope Maria takes her out; I think it's a disgrace that these part time players have been able to do so well on the women's tour.

Amidst all the craziness, I forgot she was even playing this year; so no, she's off the radar for a reason.

i dont think we should be taking ur ignorance as a metric for her chances.

she's a class player and the wta is a joke. could easily go the whole way with a draw like pova's at the FO

Hm. While I believe her swan-song determination could lead to a victory over Sharapova, I feel that one match would sap all of her drive, leaving her sitting to be a clay pigeon for someone with a greater desire to win. I see her best, last chance for major #5 at the U.S. Open, which has rewarded her one-of-a-kind style.

Can she stay injury free over two weeks? I think her lack of match play will start to cause her trouble when she faces better opponents. She hasnt faced very stiff competition thus far and its going to be hard for her to take out an in form Sharapova.
