Kirschbaum max power gauge, color ?

I'm exploring and testing round strings, and I'm keen to try cherry strings this time.

I have T-fight 315s and T-fight 305s, any recommendation for gauge and color (if there is a performance different between colors)?

I mostly use 1.25 but used 1.20 sometimes as well depends string.

So far my favorite setup is Razor Code 1.25 and 4G soft 1.25 but both are quite pricey although holding tension pretty good tho.

I've played Kirschbaum Max Power Gray 1.20, Max Power White and Red 1.25 (twice), Flash Black 1.20 and Orange 1.25 (twice), XPlosive Speed 1.23 and Evolution 1.20 and 1.25 (twice).

Flash 1.25 in orange is just super easy string to use and can be tried in a wide range of tensions. Doesn't get safer choice than Flash orange 1.25.
Evolution 1.25 is a bit stiffer, not as stiff as Max Power, much less dwell-time, less lively = better ball sensation.
Max Power 1.20 - Luxilon Alu Power "clone", closer to Alu Power than Topspin Cyber Flash, MSV Swift and
Max Power 1.25 white felt like a stiff variation of Tru Pro Ghost Wire (same slickness / slicker than the grey Max Power somehow).
Max Power 1.25 RED - the STABLEST tennis string I've ever used. If you're a flat hitter, this is gonna be your go-to-string. It's quite demanding and will only deliver what you put into it, lacked some top-spin assistance.

To sum up:
Flash 1.25 orange - ideal for recreational level (like me)
Evolution 1.25 - advanced club players
Max Power 1.25 Red - Dusan Lajovic kind of hitter.-

Sounds like I would like Max Power 1.25 Red!
I tried confidential but didnt like feel of square string. (tried other squares but didnt like as well.)
Should I lower tension when string max power on 305s? (semi dense 18x19)
Or okay to use same tension when I used for razor code and 4g soft?

I tried Max Power 1.25 RED in the Head Prestige 18x19 2021. My usual 22/21 kg. I've been stringing the crosses 1kg less the mains.

I didn't like Confidential a few hits i tried it. Too "boardy" and doesn't move at all. Feels like hitting with a wooden board.

Since you said 1.20 is replica of alu power, how different from 1.25 red?

I looked at the stiffness on red, it may too stiff to my 305s. Any experience max power rough? Im learning toward max power 1.20 but wonder what is rough feel like
I would go for the Evolution 1.20 then and don't get into string testing rabbit hole. Been there, done that.
Great experience testing strings for a good couple years. A few stood out. Most played the same or most of the influence came from the balls, the racket and incoming pace/level of opponent.
Max Power Rough is textured, so id expect more grab on the ball

I use 1.25 Red Max power for years. First, it has no power, it maintains tension and its very arm friendly despite crazy numbers!
Didn't like grey color, didn't like textured , didnt like 18g - they play very different than red one.

That’s because they behave like a different string. It takes a few trials to dial in the correct tension and even then you may not like it cuz of the SW change or elasticity change.

What tension would you recommend to MP 120?
I just purchased a set cause local has max power 120. It has same stiffness with Razor code 1.25. Should string same tension?

++Update++

I strung Max Power 120 to my 305s 56/54, and just did first game this morning.
Why stores don't carry this string? it's beyond great, I have feeling it will be my top of Go list of strings.
String feels descent, very responsive and good power, not low-powered but not launchy.
I don't know how long this feeling lasts, hope it keeps the same feels a week or two, will update after some time.

how are you feeling now, lower tension or keep it at 56/54? What color did you use for the Max Power?

I purchased a reel of Max Power Red 1.25
It's been my favorite among grey 1.20, 12.5 and red 1.25
Same tension 56/54, string bed doesn't feel hard tbh.
Good feeling and solid but not that hard.

I’m also using a 18x19 pattern Percept 100D and my current goto is Kirshbaum super smash orange 1.23 at 49/46lbs. I’ve never gone as high as 50lbs ever since I started to play with poly just about 4 months lol not so much. How does high tension play for you? Does it feel boardy?

Its completely subjective.
I never play lower than 52 lbs but if you have played poly only 4 month, and try various set up as much as you can afford.
I don't think it suddenly become boardy feeling even if you raise tension to mid 50s.
It would feel more solid for sure but its same string so I don't think it magically change string bed just go up a few pounds.
