Hey guys I want to know what would be the best option or alternative rather to the Luxilon ALU Big Banger Rough. Is K-boom the best on the market next to the big bangers, cause the luxilons is just killing my wallet, and the reel for the big bangers is way too much, however the reel on the K-booms is way cheaper so i'm thinking of switching.

the the unique big hitter. kboom isint that much cheaper than alu, big hitter is great and about 1/2 the price. I think it even plays better.

Try Unique Big Hitter. ALso give Mongut by ASHWAY a try.

the monogut will lose tension very fast. i like unique bug hitter, like the other posters above. it's a great deal for the price.

Big hitter is about $50 /reel

Personal experience: Like higher tensions, over 27kg, go with 16g, less than, go with 17g...

17g is fragile on a constant pull machine. I have had it explode on pulls at 28kg on a constant pull machine...

i have tried k-boom, bb original, polymono.... found k-boom is the best in pwr....

K-boom will be very good if you rely on power.

UNIQUE BIG HITTER 17guage plays very similar to BIG BANGER and is a bargain at $6.95 per set from TW !!!!

I switched from ALU over to BIG HITTER a few months ago and actually prefer BIG HITTER over BIG BANGER. The BIG HITTER is a little softer and seems to have much more feel......also alot easier on the elbow and the wallet !

Give it a try....you won't be disappointed if you're an ALU poly fan already.

I thought K-Boom played great and pocketed the ball better than any other Poly's I have tried. It is one of the softest poly's out there as well. Still, not a cheap string......

I hear the Topspin Cyber Flash is the closest to the ALU and holds tension better. I found a distrubutor here in the U.S. and am going to give it a try... but from all that I've heard, it is most like ALU.
