Hi all,

Has anyone ever used this in any gauge:

https://www.klip.com.au/shopexd.asp?id=237

Hybrid set by Klip consisting of Natural Gut and their own Poly.

I currently use Klip Legend Natural Gut 16 mains and Alu Power Rough 16 crosses and absolutely love it. I just noticed Klip have their own combo so am tempted to give it a shot but cannot find much info out there.

Cheers

most likely a down under string ( naturally - pun intended - since they AU based) , could be EU also.
don't think you will get a many answers here, since the string is over the seas...

Yes. I tried a set while I was in Sydney, and the local shop recommended that I try it. Basically it's a coated black Legend Tour 17 natural gut with their Power 17.
I like the uncoated Legend 17g (now called Guru) a lot with my Cyclone 19g. This Legend Pro Tour hybrid felt stiffer overall. I think that's more because of the coated gut main than the Power poly I think. Launch angle got bigger as I played, I think the power crosses loses more tension faster than Cyclone. Lasted quite long which was quite annoying. Got about 11 sets + hitting in before it broke, which for me was good. Plays like my VS Team 17g/Cyclone 19g, with noticeable less spin and feel, and a tad drop in power. Honestly I remember it more because of the longevity than the playability, and also how much it cost! The AUD was higher back then!
I can't remember how the old Legend + Alu Power Rough felt, but I left it for Cyclone so it can't have been better. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Hello:
I currently use Klip Legend 17 (mains) and Wilson Revolve 17 (crosses). I string the gut quite high at 62-63. I have to string the gut high or it is too powerful for me.
I looked at my KLIP packaging and the word PRO is not evident.
