Knee friendly shoes

Folks- looking for knee friendly men’s shoes. Long distance runner, so need to protect my knees and ankles from the treacherous hard courts! But, at the same time, don’t want to feel like I have a rock tied to my legs when moving quickly on the court.
Thank you!

sometimes the answer is right in front of us, may threads have covered the topic of cushioning:

Asics Gel Res 9 or Adidas Barricade or Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour.

+

Double Socks with a pair of Thorlos Max Cushion (could get compression socks underneath the Thorlos for better blood flow - I use the OS1st Active Comfort)
Great suggestions.

I've tried both of theses shoes and they are at the top of cushioned tennis shoes for the moment.

I would give GR9 a try first since stability wise, the Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour is not as confident inspiring moving laterally--it's too giving in its sole materials to the point of losing stability sometimes.

I have been using Mizuno WET since they came out a year ago and have had absolutely zero lateral stability issues. The shoes are excellent. Went through 7 pairs or so, and even when ready for replacement, they still hold well. Still my #1 shoe.
GR9 is excellent and probably top 3 for me.
Lacoste 23 Ultra would be the other top 3 for me. Excellent so far.

I guess I ought to start using that acronym now

Agreed on durability, Mizuno WET has exceeded my expectations in a lot of ways considering they're my 1st Mizunos.

After 6 month replacement, it's prob the most bang for your buck performance shoe imo, on 3rd pair.

I like the GR9 over the GR8 primarily due to the plushier tongue. While I only have 1 pair, sole is holding up well.

LT23 Ultra is my shoe of choice at the moment albeit the lack of durability, I just picked up 2 pairs after wearing out my 1st--I haven't touched my Vapor 9/9.5s in a while because of these.

Everyone’s anatomy is different and different shoe drop specs can cause problems for one player while being great for another. I loved the Barricade 7/Novaks while I had knee pain right away with several pairs of the Barricade 2018. ASICS Gel Resolution 9 works well for me while I had knee soreness much faster with FF3s. YMMV.

i also have problems with the knees, and im happy now with BabolatPropulse Fury 3 .. i had head revolt pro 4.0 before and always get some water inside my knee .. cant play with them ...

Gel Resolutions have been a saver for me. Started having some knee issues a number of years ago and Gel Res combined with superfeet orthotics have helped tremendously.

New Balance CT Rally - great cushioning for your knees to have less stress, pretty light weight shoes for a high quality shoe with a lot of stability

Yonex Power Cushion Eclipsion 4 or 5 and get their AC196 power-cushion insoles to go in them.
I used the 4s for 6 months last year and they were fantastic, I only noticed how good they were when I subsequently tried the Adidas Solematch Control.
