Knee Pain

I have been experiencing some knee pains recently and I can't figure out what has happened or how to fix it. I haven't fallen oddly but one day I just stood up from being on the ground and a jolt of pain shot through my right knee. Now my knee hurts when I bend it past a ninety degree angle. I don't believe that it is my actual knee that is damaged but a ligament or muscle right above the kneecap itself. The pain is on the upper left corner of my knee...I don't see a fitness trainer until next monday, (week of break from tennis) so if anyone has some advice on what to do it would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a ACL. Keep it straight as much as possible. Seek medical attention as soon as possible.

It doesn't sound at all like ACL.

*You don't tear your ACL from just standing up.
*OP isn't complaining of any swelling since the incident
*You don't feel the pain on the upper side of the knee. The ACL is in the middle of the joint between the femur and tibia.
*No ACL tear would lead somebody to take just a week off from playing tennis.
