hoping to hear in the next few weeks on the new range........

Definitely the best good-looking racquet I've ever seen in my whole life. I wish they have something like 285g unstrung, less than 22mm beam, 315g swingweight, 16x19 string pattern, 2' head light strung and I swear I'll switch to that forever.
That was one sweet stick, sweet looking too ..... only problem I had with it was the extra length. I found the Black Star to be one of (if not the) best racquets I've ever hit with, and I had to order it from the UK as none were available in the USA.
I have the old Adidas racquet ....was it really a Knessel?
I have it as a collectors piece and its spaghetti strung.
There's a reason it's a niche![]()
Do you measure swingweight of the Black Star? I used to play with Head IG Speed Elite, when they release the Graphene Speed S I switch to that but the swingweight turns out to be much higher than the previous version though both are 285 unstrung. In addition to that, it's stiff like a board.
Many thanks.
hoping to hear in the next few weeks on the new range........
In which country are Kneissl tennis rackets manufactured?
China!!!! If you want a racquet that is not made in China buy a Yonex!!!!!
I would advise potential buyers to avoid Kneissl entirely. I'm not sure what their deal is, but I got ripped off. This thread should get sticky'd. I assume this is why TW doesn't stock their products.
Bought two reels of Tourstar for specific client request on March 11, 2016. Wasn't able to find this string anywhere else except direct through Kneissl, not even on the bay. Still have not received the product and no shipping confirmation/tracking #. I've sent countless emails direct to info@kneissl-uk.com, no response. Sent an inquiry through their website, no response. Tried calling them, no one answers. Scoured TT threads and found someone by the name of mike@kneissl-uk.com and emailed him directly, no response but didn't get a bad email kickback either so apparently he rec'd my email.
Opened a PayPal claim on 3/15....no seller response on 3/16 or 3/17.....escalated it to a dispute on 3/18. Then magically "Tim McCann" on 3/21 emails me saying "we are away at 'ski testing', but back this Friday (being 3/25). We will send your order next week, if you release the PayPal hold."
I'm one to give benefit of the doubt usually, so I was cool with this. I closed the PayPal dispute on 3/21. Friday last week came and went, no shipping info. Monday came and went, no shipping info. I know Kneissl is in the UK and 8hrs ahead of me, so I emailed Tim back Monday mid-day and gave an ultimatum that if I don't have shipping confirmation or tracking# by 7am PST on Tuesday 3/28, I will file fraud claims on this transaction through PayPal and my credit card company. Well, today came and went, no shipping info (since they're in the UK, their Tuesday is over). I filed a fraud claim with PayPal and my credit card company.
I don't know who this @michael valek is above my post here, but Kneissl is a complete joke. Eighteen days and can't ship out two reels of string. My specific client is a 20-racquet-per-week job, I told client I won't do any business with Kneissl. Even if they do magically ship the string at some point, I'm putting it straight in the garbage; not running the opportunity of a player liking their the string and then request for me to deal with this all over again.

Seems like many companies in this internet era have cut the customer support and opted for web support which is not well supported by the cutback staff. My worst experience was with AT&T which has very poor customer support and makes many billing errors.

Kneissl and Fischer can’t be bothered by tennis anymore. Such a shameKneissl haven’t made rackets for about 5 -10 years now, Tim is a good guy and was flying the flag for Kneissl in Europe for a long time with some tennis help from me. Their business is entirely ski related which takes up all his time and they have no interest in tennis any more. I was associated with them for a few years when that range was new but now there is nothing tennis related to be associated with. Hoping for a comeback one day.
