Kobra Tour v. Kobra Team FX

Hey all...

I'm searching for a new racquet. I currently hit with an old Head i.Prestige Mid XL, but want something with a little more power and a larger sweet spot.

After trying out several demos, I came across the Kobra Team FX, which I liked quite a bit. My only complaint was that it felt a bit light. I know the Tour is a little heavier, and wondered if I might enjoy it more.

Does anyone have any experience with both racquets? I'm tempted to buy the Tour without trying it first, but will reconsider if they are worlds apart in terms of feel.

Thanks in advance!

Do not buy any racket without demoing.I have been using the kobra team for a few months now.I will tell you that it is a great racket, also for me it is much better than the tour version.

I demoed both+the team fx is much nicer. The tour is way to powerful for me, it is also harsh on the arm.One of my partners thought it was the same as the bab pure drive stiff+powerful.

The team is a great stick, i have been using 12 ounce plus players rackets the last few years.I never thought i would use a racket this light again.

But it is different than most tweeners it is light at 11.2 but it has great control. It is also a great spin stick.Plus it is headlight+flexible which is not common in these weight rackets.

IMO, the Kobra Tour is disgusting due to its bad feel and instability. Honestly, I would rather just use the APDC.

Thanks for the advice.

I did demo the Pure Drive GT, and really didn't care for it. It had some power to it, but it felt like artificial power if that makes sense.
