KSWISS Ultrashot 3 Fit

Have been wearing the Ultrashot 2 and they fit perfect so I ordered the 3.
To my disappointment they are much narrower and are too tight. I hate when shoe companies change something like width of shoe in new model.

Anyway I do like KSWISS as known to be a little wider and good comfort.
Thinking of trying the Hypercourt Express or Supreme.
Anyone know if they are wider than the Ultrashot 3?

Dude you are a German monarch. If you are the Kaiser you can just get one of your subjects/goons to make you some jfc.

If the US 3 is narrower than the US 2, then yes they will be wider (well, HyperCourt Express 2 anyway). Moreso than even the US 2. Also, the Supreme and HCE 2 have a LOT of break in. I originally ordered both the Supreme and HCE 2 to fit, and they did out of the box, but by break in, they were waaay to large. Subsequent ones that I ordered I made sure to go a size down so they would fit a little snug. After break in, they are still a tinge too wide. Unfortunately for me, the KSwiss also caused me a lot of heel issues so I have three or four pairs just sitting in a box.

I’d be curious what Ultrashot 2 people have been switching to. Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like the Ultrashot 3.

I made the switch from UShot 2 to 3 and didn’t notice a size difference as I wore the same size (USA 10.5). I was told they beefed up the sole to last longer and I believe it as they are chunkier and clunkier. I haven’t worn the UShot 3 out yet because I stopped using them. Looking for something lighter I went to NB Fresh Foam X Lav 2 (size USA 9.5) which were good except didn’t last long before I made it through the sole at the big toe (Jan-Apr) while playing less because colder and new job. They also rubbed the front of my ankle bone sometimes so I wasn’t sad to see them go.

Now wearing Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 5 (size USA 9.5). Not quite as cushy as KSwiss but comfortable, actually forgot I was trying on tennis court shoes when I was trying them on. Wasn’t sure they’d make 6 months but will for sure now with tennis elbow onset  I’d buy another pair once these wear out, good shoes.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Also, sorry to hear about your TE, and wishing you a speedy recovery. I’ve been wearing the Ultrashot 1-2 for the past couple of years, and my current pair of Ultrashot 2’s will wear out in the next 1-2 months. Just by looking at the pictures, I can tell the Ultrashot 3 is fairly different, which (as you know) doesn’t always mean that it’s better. KSwiss is by far my favorite shoe brand, but I will try the Mizuno’s around the house, along with a few other options. I won’t even bother trying the Ultrashot 3’s, which is a bit disappointing (sigh).

I use both the Ultrashot 2 and the Supreme (size 10 in both).

Both great shoes, the Supreme is a bit more roomy (I wear thicker socks with it) and lighter feeling. I have had at least 5 pair of each.

So if the Supreme is a bit more roomy than the US2 it surely is wider than the US3 (which I did not try due to narrow reviews). Supreme are not as durable but they are great shoes.

Thanks, guess I will go with Supremes. Very disappointed with how narrow the US3 is. I really like the US2, tried searching the bay for more but no luck finding any in my size.

I have been wearing the BigShot since the 1's and each increment has been worse and more narrow. I too loved KSwiss for their wider normal widths without having to jump a width size. I am actually on my last pair of BS 3's, tried the 4's and they are, yet again, more narrow, but to the point I am going to have to find another shoe all together. I still have a pair of the Ultrashot's Hypercourts from last year or the year before in 11.5 that I wore once and didn't like.

What didn’t you like about Hypercourts?

Mostly it was the insert and arch were very different, with a much large arch area that after just one match in them had my foot aching. They also did not feel as stable on the side walls for side-to-side movement, so I could feel my foot rolling a little with outward pressure. And then my heal did not feel like it pocketed in the back of the shoe and I could feel it slip more than I was used to.

I bought a pair of the Ultrashot 3's and wore them last night. These were purchased as a replacement for my Torneo's which were over a year old and worn out. The Ultrashot 3 is a fine fit and exactly what I was looking for.

any comments regarding the toebox width compared to the US2/Torneo (of the same US size)?

I can't compare to US2, but the US3 has a wider and softer toebox than the Torneo, which is just what I needed.

Update: I have ditched the Ultrashots and returned to the Torneo. The Torneo is just a better fit for me and far more comfortable. Go Diadora....
