Kvitova d Sabalenka in Sydney, 6-1, 7-5.

Watching Sabalenka lose to Kvitova in the first round of the Sydney International, I can't help but think that she is still not ready/capable of winning a slam. Her indecision on crucial points, greatly exposes a lack of experience. I'm a huge fan of hers, but feel she still needs at least another 2-3 years, before she is a serious threat at any slam.

I think it was just the typical letdown after a title win (Shenzhen). She's got a great chance to win a Slam this year.

She is 20 so of course she has plenty of development ahead of her. furthermore, Kvitová is a two-time grand slam champion and highly experienced veteran.

She couldn't handle Kvitova's power and she is not a great mover. She has immense power and a swagger about her, but she is overrated. She reminds me of Dinara Safina.
