Edit: Upon further inspection, its definitely a Wilson, but it seems from other's comments he's just borrowing his girlfriend's frame for a fun hit.

IS it possible that Kygrios is fishing for Wilson's attention?? I can see him doing that.

Nick was hitting on the court next to me this morning. Still had his Yonex so must have borrowed one of Alja's racquets.

He looked comfortable with the Blade. One could argue too comfortable. Seemed like his hitting was pretty good with it.
Who knows if he'll switch or if Wilson will get him. He is a young up-and-comer and Babolat or Wilson will probably end up with him at the end of the day. We also have to put into perspective what happened around the time Yonex was starting to let news out about the new DR line.. he was their face for the racquet and after he mouthed off during his match with Stan, he was quickly replaced by Bencic in the ads. Must leave a bit of a bad taste in the mouth.
Dust has settled and it might serve Yonex right for pulling away from him. Could be a great chance for Wilson to get another star on their roster.. let's face it.. after Rio a lot of players are calling it quits. When Fed departs who will be Wilson's highest ranked ATP player? Dimitrov? Again, who knows.. Dimitrov wants it badly but Krgrios could actually get it. He is super talented. If he gets out of his own way, he could be a top 5 player easy.
They both have time on their side.

I hope he doesnt switch and it is his gfs racquet but theres a wildon box in the background like it is his? I thought when u sign a contract ur never allowed to use another brand on the court. Period.

I would assume 'in an event'. At a pre-season training session it's not a huge deal - except on these boards. :)

And even if it is, would Yonex risk whacking him and losing out on a big star if he does make the Top 10 and win majors like many pundits think he will?

Why? Doesn't affect you, me, or the rest of the folks here. Does it? What would you say if he started playing better with a Blade?

Reminds me of that little incident with James Harden a few months ago. Signs that huge Adidas deal, then goes photoed in public wearing a pair of Jordans I think. Funny stuff, but Adidas must have been facepalming pretty hard. Nike/Jordan get free publicity cause of that just cause everybody says "LOOK! Harden's wearing Nikes!" Sort of the same thing happening here, but not as big a deal I guess. Although we are talking about Wilson...so stuff like this does have some effect I suppose.

On another note, think him and Raonic both need to change their hairstyles. And like whiskey I'm not sure what's goin on with that facial hair either.

Only on talk tennis does anyone really care and people get disappointed/upset or really happy.

Would have been wise to save these pics for april and post them on the first, and make a big scandal out of it.

According to a yonex contract that i have personally seen it said you not allowed to step on a court with any other racquet. Probably because of situations like this where people take a photo and its all over the web. I could be wrong tho

Well it does affect me in a way because i just purchased 3 ezone dr rackets. Not saying i wouldnt of got them if he didnt use them but that was the first reason i picked one up

Nadal had his management do extensive negotiations when someone in the media asked him to hit with a wooden racquet, so yes the companies are strict.

Thats what i thought. I know if i was paying someone hundreds of thousands of dollars i would be pissed if they were photographed using a different companies racquet. Agassi got dropped for doing this and so did wozniacki

I dont understand how people think its not a big deal when someone switches a sponsor? Or gets caught using equipment they arent sponsored by. I think its a big deal. Atleast from a company perspective i would not be happy about it.. just my 2 cents
