Kyrgios attitude is pathetic!

Swearing at the crowd, yelling at innocent ball kids for his towel. All of the pathetic things is did last night are in this article in case you didn't watch it.

He is just in general way too full of himself. How many times he threw his racquets is ridiculous throughout the match. Mark my words the day this kid wins a grand slam is the same day I stop watching tennis. He is an embarrassment to the sport at the moment

His attitude should improve with age.

Right now he clearly has trouble dealing with pressure and emotion.

Not unlike a temper tantrum during the FO final, where play was suspended while a bench with a sponsors name was replaced......

Better than wearing a clown Afro wig, be completely needy, curse at the crowd, or wear nipple tassels in public....

Or make "funny" videos with fellow countrymen mocking another player with a fake gun...

Fans in glass houses....

I'm waiting for Kyrgios to ask the crowd to suck his dong or whatever it was Djokovic said in that Madrid match against Dimitrov. Go on Nick, you can do it!

At least he didn't rip his shirt off, disrespect his opponent by doing it, cause drama, or get into feuds with top players.

Man, Djoker fans sure are being hypocrites today.

I'm still waiting for Kyrgios to take his anger out on top players, like Djokovic did with Roddick and Federer.

Ahahaha.
He did say that, didn't he?

Still, he's usually much better behaved than Kyrgios.

Makes Fed's "shut up" look tame, no?

You can say the same thing about Federer. You remember the WTF last year right?

Also I have no problem with any celebrations but what kyrgios was doing last night was ridiculous

It's more about age.

When Djokovic was Kyrgios' age, he was worse in my opinion.. Super arrogant, rude and disrespectful even to top players..

A Nole fan making this thread is just asking for trouble, sorry. It just really is.

It's downright freakin' hilarious.

His match against Wawrinka where Federer's wife caused the drama? Good excuse.. Notice I never said anything about Djoker's parents, and they're worse.. It still isn't their fault so it shouldn't matter.

Djoker disrespected Roddick and Federer, and I'm honestly glad Roddick ended up retiring with the H2H advantage against him.

These things happen occasionally even to fed and djokovic but krygios last night was yelling at the crowd, ball boys, umpire for absolutely no reason?

A player shouldn't shout at someone get of your F***king phone mate! Or when someone screams out during and a point and he goes are you alright? All other players ignore these things

I haven't seen much of Djokovic's early years so I can't say, but he is certainly guilty of some antics even now.
Main reason I don't like him really, well that and the defensive playing style.

But there are far worse players, Djoker is tame these days compared to Janowicz, Kyrgios, Fognini.

Roddick did very well against Djokovic even though most of their match-ups occurred when Roddick was on the down-swing and Djokovic was ranked above him.

I saw it, I was there.
My ears are still ringing from that crowd.

Nick's behaviour was very poor, I'm not gonna really defend it, just offering age as a possible explanation.

Nick doesn't and that makes him compelling and exciting for many, even though yes of course he could tone it down a bit. At least he hasn't asked the mothers to give it a good shellacking yet.

I liked Djoker at AO '07, but that view was changed at the AO in '08. He was super arrogant and disrespectful to the top guys without even having won a slam yet. I remember his interview after he beat a declined Hewitt and he acted as if he slayed a God..

djokovics celebrations were a bit out of hand sometimes but I don't remember him doing anything almost every match like kyrgios has this tournament.

I agree that Djokovic is a saint, and that being Serbian helps me to ignore all his questionable antics.

BTW, have you actually watched much Nick yet?

It is more than just his celebrations.

He flat out disrespected the guys in interviews, ect. He was an arrogant kid, no denying it.

Although he is better today, which is why I wouldn't mind if he won the AO.

Maybe so, but it was clear to me that Djoker started the trouble by being a super arrogant, rude kid..

He is arrogant, yes.
Gets p*ssed when he loses.

The chest thumping and the fist thing he does are irritating.

I like it when the players exclaim though, like "Ajde!" and "Chum Jetze!".
That's fine, but some of Novak's "gestures" just make him seem like a thug IMO.

Quite. Frankly, it's rude as crap to be chattering on the phone disrespecting the player and other folks around if one is close enough to the players.

I find that refreshing.... People are so rude with their cell phones.

Last 2 of 3 funerals I've been to, some rude a-hole had their phone go off. For cripes sake...

He was a bit arrogant when he won his first lot of prize money. His father brought him back to earth. But he was nothing compared to kyrgios.

The chest thumping and shirt ripping are just unappealing. I like it when players yell out "come on", ect. (I'm a Hewitt fan after all ) but the shirt ripping and arrogant celebrations do me in..

Nice one.

Nick Kyrgios for president... he's gonna splatter brains all over the tour in the future.

I didn't mind him at all before but after I have seen his attitude this tournament he is possibly the player I dislike the most. I don't really dislike any players though besides kyrgios of course

No, I think he was worse..

Djokovic was almost Tomic level in terms of arrogance when he was younger, but I'm glad he cleaned his act up. Now he's a respectable top guy, I must admit.

Most players mellow with age, Novak and Hewitt did.

I don't remember djokovic yelling at the crowd, yelling at ball boys (which are just kids ffs!!!), telling a guy to get off his f***ing phone  And throwing his racquet after every third point he loses. djokovic was a bit arrogant but djokovic is not on the same stratosphere as kyrgios

It's that and the chest thumping, that I see often.

But it's more than that.. It's his arrogance in interviews, his quitter attitude, ect as well.. As I've said, I'm glad he's outgrown it.

No, but I remember Djokovic acting like he was ranked 1 and the best in the world when he was barely ranked 3 at AO '08.

Kyrgios is a pest. I'm finding it hard to support him. He seems to believe fans depend on him winning or something. I've got news buddy: Nobody needs you. Fans are there for their own entertainment. For now, that includes supporting you for being local. Just play the game and show some respect to people that make it possible.

If you want to be the best, you have to believe you can get there. After AO 08 he had lost a lot of confidence against fedal.......... If you look it up he wanted to quit tennis at one point.
