He beat injured Djokovic? Impressive. I bet when Kyrgios played him after he got healthy in 2018, 2019, and 2020 it was a pretty epic match when Kyrgios made it to Djokovic....

Oh wait

journeyman gonna journeyman
Injured? :-D

So let’s see, how many times Djokovic beat injured Nadal in 2015 and 2016? Are you willing to discount those too? :-D

So you did know who Kyrgios was after all. :sneaky:

you can emoji all you want. Not gonna change reality.
Lol they played only twice in that period. :-D But Djokovic did accumulate eight wins against him for the rest of 2015 and 2016 but I don’t see you discount them with the same injured argument. :sneaky:

Why are you wildly spinning to Rafa? We’re talking about the semi retired Kyrgios right? No one talks about Djoker beating Rafa at RG15.

The point is Djokovic fans like you find excuses for his losses to Kyrgios but when there are examples of the opposite Djokovic fans don’t admit it. So it makes the whole argument pitiful and dishonest. :sneaky:

@vex @USO - Where do you guys think Kyrgios is at in terms of his playing career? I have seen some things this year which worry me greatly, and suggest that he is at least 2 months from being in playing condition.

Am I overstating things given that he has shut it down for the year anyway and has months to get back in shape, or is there genuine cause for concern about Nick's mental health, either in terns of the pandemic affecting him, or a longer term concern about not being able to find motivation any more?

I don’t follow Kyrgios closely so it’s hard to know if he’s been practising. I would like to believe that he will try to get ready for the AO?

Nick's not a "journeyman," he's way above that level. People here call Kohlschreiber and RBA journeymen, when they emphatically aren't. Journeymen are on the challengers/futures circuit and nobody's heard of them.
They mean “tour level journeyman”. Guys that stay ranked somewhere between 30 and 60.
