Who stops Djokovic from having his own exhibition? Well, he knows that would be a failure due to him being unpopular outside Serbia.
Novak is the top prize money earner in ATP and WTA Tour this year with a total prize money of nearly 10 million dollars. Nadal and Ruud are at the 4th and 5th spot behind Swiatek and Alcaraz.
Novak has more important things to do to take care of lower ranked players and he also attended the Davis Cup Final which only shows that Novak is a real tennis fan, not all about money and greedy exhibitions.
We can't really trust his words, can we? He complained the season is too long, and he is still playing tennis on the other side of the globe after the season ended.

That doesn't refute what i said. Had Novak been popular he would have organised his own exhibition outside Serbia.
Being popular doesn't make you to be humble. It gives you the feeling of self entitlement, for example, Nadal threatening an umpire not to umpire his matches again and telling off his opponent at the net after just getting broken.
