It's weird b/c they showed the first twomatches of the day, just screwed up on this one ..... I was wondering whether they were just blacking out the los angeles area, but it wasn't blacked out for Tipsy or Querrey ....... I was looking forward to seeing Feli, who looked very tasty yesterday!

Nothing per se - I just don't recall Murray ever wearing it backwards.

Murray through to the semis. Falla had his chances in the first but didn't take advantage. Andy certainly didn't play his best, but he got the W....

Just finished watching the match on DVR via TC. James was in control the first 2 sets, faced only 1 BP. This was the best I've seen him play since Australia, maybe even better. Plenty of zinging returns, good defense, it was all going well. Seemed like he was destined to win, he was playing the match the right way and dictating the rallies. Lopez came through in the breaker and broke at 3-3 in the 3rd. Lopez just hit so many clutch serves on BPs, I think Blake only faced 3 or 4 the whole match wile Lopez faced at least 10 but only was broken twice (1st and 2nd set).

Good win for Lopez, but sour loss for Blake even though he played great. He was in control of the match until that lapse he had getting broken at love in the 2nd after breaking Lopez. All in all, a good match, some good play from both players, and I'm encouraged that JB may be back to form now and should break back to top 100 by the time the summer's done.

batz, any word on what's the deal w/ Muzza's coaching situation. I read reports that Murray didn't want to use the Adidas coaching program b/c so many other guys like Gonzo and Verdasco use the same coaches, but also read something that said Cahill may be his guy post USO. Anything? :?

Cahill has been heavily mooted by the UK tennis journalists since the moment Miles left the team. I'd be delighted to see him get the gig.

It would probably be the best choice arguably, at least according to 'experts', expensive too though apparently.

BTW where in Tenerife are you? Amazing island imo, especially the volcano/mountain (the British bits aren't so good obviously).

Not sure what you're watching, this has been a fantastic match the whole way. I've never seen Querrey play better than he did in the first set, but Janko was right there with him the whole way and stole the TB after saving 5 set points with 3 aces and 2 unbelievable winners. Looks like we might be headed for a third TB.

So after exactly three hours, a first set where he was 0/5 on set points, a second set where he faced a match point and was down 5-1 in the TB before coming back, and a final set where he was down a break and faced 10 total break points, Sam wins it!
