Lack of tennis tourneys here in Oregon

G.O.A.T.
I was planning on playing many 4.5 and 4.0 tourneys next year, but i did a web search of 100 mile radius and found just about ZERO!!! The only thing I found was let next fall lol
Except for the Vancouver tourney which has 32 players over 3 days is too much.

Looks like I am better off sticking to USTA play. With my improved Serve and Backhand I should run the table at 4.0 one singles.

Open circuit is WAY to hard for me!!!

I can play 4.0 or 4.5

The age divisions tend to be a lot of 5.0 players and its to HARD

The USTA office does not publish the next year's tournament schedule until early December. In other words, the reason you can't find any tournaments within 100 miles of Portland in 2016 is because the 2016 schedule hasn't been loaded in TennisLink yet.

By the way, if you don't want to play a 32 draw in 4.0 at VTC, why not just play 4.5 in those tournaments? The 4.5 draw is rarely over 16, and is usually less.

No,

You need to pack up and move to ATL. You'll get more than you can handle.lol I heard they are thinking about cutting that state off from the rest of the US anyway....About 18 people in the whole state including the Trailblazers.lol I'm just kidding...but seriously come on down to atl. I'm in Chattanooga but play there. You'll get that backhand tested every week. :)

Thanks Chatt.
I actually lived in Atlanta back in 1999 for a year and liked it.
Unforuntately for some reason I did not play tennis that one year.
