Surprised no one's started a thread on this yet. Lacoste not only dropped a high performance shoe, but Medvedev is wearing it in Miami right now. Kinda looks like the Adidas SoleCourt Boost to me. Tennis Pro Foot Doc is getting them soon to post on his YouTube channel, and I know a lot of folks here like his reviews. Just interested to hear what thoughts are so far, if anyone on here has picked up a pair.

No opinion yet, but I got a pair here. Thinking whether to keep or not. My only one meaningful observation so far is that I don't share an opinion of them running large. I am in between 11 and 11.5, so for most athletes kicks I use 11.5. I got these in both sizes and 11.0 will be going back for sure.
Another observation of an uncertain significance is that shoelaces appear to be spaced out wider than on my other shoes. Not sure if this will affect the foot hold.
Waiting, for over 2 months now, to get Court FF2s to compare and decide.

P.S. Got Court FF2 and they are notably longer than Lacoste for the same size. Seems like my initial impression above was correct. Going to start playing in AG-LT next week.

I also got a pair just to give them a chance, plus they go well with RF's green uniqlo top I bought. Coming from the Uber 4s, which I've been wearing for a few months now, they're very different. It'll take time to get used to them, but hitting serves in them last night felt decent.

They're not heavy, though. They feel way lighter than the Vapor NXT for example, which I NEVER plan on wearing again. Feel lighter than the Cage 4s as well.

Will play in them more this weekend, and come back with a more detailed response.

Played a couple practice sets in these yesterday. I like these. Don't feel lightweight, but not clunky at all. Got a lot of energy return on split steps. Felt really stable. Not the most cushioned, but I had no discomfort. Playing a league playoff match in them tomorrow, we'll see how they hold up.

how would you compare the size to Nike?

I've loved the AG-LT-Ultra's in almost all regards, the wide soles provide great grip and stability and the Pebax in the midsole does a great job of providing snap-back for pushing off-of the toes. The only caveat for me personally is that heal comes up way to far and has been causing me real issues, along with feeling quite flat in the heel area I am getting heel pains from what feels like a stretched out achilles tendon. If the heel counter on this shoe was lower and the lacing longer and better secured (as its a bit flexible so I find myself cinching down the laces and them still flexing out during the course of a match) then these shoes would be my go to for competitions for sure.

1) the fit is true size although they are medium to narrower fit. The front widens up but still feel some pressure on my pinky toe. I expect them to soften up in that area after a few sessions. Did not cause any true rubbing or blisters, so no issues. The arch is normal, no issues. I would not recommend them for wider feet.
2) Comfort is great. No to minimal break in. They are not overly padded but very good…for tennis! I am not sure they could be used for walking around. I am, however, planning to travel to China in them, next month.
3) stability is excellent. Really good for lateral movement. They are very quiet too. No squeaky rubber like my Diadoras
4) breathability seems to be very good although I only play indoors these days so cannot really tell much but they seem very breathable.

I expect durability to be very good too, but will keep you posted.

They also look very nice!

Mine arrived today. I'm not sure if I'll keep them. They feel secure and like I'll be able to move speedily in them; however, there's some tightness in the toe box. In my opinion, Zach the Foot Doc got it wrong regarding the sizing. These do not feel wide at all. I'm not sure why he sized down, especially when he said his foot was on the wide side. My foot is on the narrow side and they fit snuggly in my normal size. They definitely look and feel "premium."

Interesting. I'm curious what your experience with them will be as far as the toe box opening up or not. I also feel a little pressure on my toes.

As I said above, they are medium to slightly narrow fit, true size (length). I did feel some tightness with my pinky toe but that is gone after 3 sessions.
I like them very much and have ordered a second pair while on sale.

They are not wide at all. I went up half a size.

I want to amend my comment. Zach the Foot Doc's reviews are so good that I wonder if his pair did run differently in size. Another tennis website also lost them as running wide, so I don't want dismiss the Foot Doc's review by any means. In my experience, though, not wide.

Edit: I tried these on again in the morning, and I just felt that they're too cramped in the toe box. I'm probably sending these back. This is just long way of saying that I don't recommend people size down.

The more I use them, the better they feel. The return of energy is excellent, makes them feel very light and fast. Very stable. The fit is now perfect for me, medium to very slightly narrow foot, lower/medium arch.
After 4 sessions, they fit like a glove
No rubbing, No slipping (I do use all available lacing holes and the laces are long enough even for my left foot that I use a brace/sleeve to protect ASICS damaged Achilles tendon.

After 4 sessions, I also noticed that they have a good ventilation.

Comfort is great on the court but would not use them as walking shoes, they are NOT overly padded.

Also, I like how they are sloping from Heel to toes, unlike ASICS (FF2) that gave me all sorts of problems before applying an expensive custom insole.

The other companies making clothing as well. There's no reason Lacoste couldn't make a good sneaker. They actually seem well designed and have good pretty good feedback from professional reviewers. The problem I have with them is the toe box feels small. I may size up 1/2 size or I may return them, but they seem like a good sneaker.

Yeah. +0.25 would have been perfect. I do use a hard 3/4 length prescription orthotic which might be the reason why I had to go up a 1/2 size.

I tried my normal size and the toe box was definitely too tight. But as I mentioned in my previous post, I use a prescription 3/4 length hard orthotic along with the shoe sloping forward which could be pushing my foot forward a little bit.

Yes, the shoe has a perfect slope forward. ASICS are flat or even reverse slope that almost ruined my Achilles…

I have a second pair coming. I am curious if they have slight size variations among themselves so that the reviewer mentioned they run bigger. If not, I will be ordering 1/2 size up next time just to make sure thicker socks would be ok. Right now, I am using Head Performance socks, medium thickness and no issues but very close to “tight” fit. Just like ASICS fit but -1/2. I wear all of my shoes size 11. ASICS FF2 I used to order 10.5 and they would be fine but 10.75 would be ideal, 11 is just a bit too much.

Love them but love the non ultra version better that has the full more padded tongue instead of the split tongue. I have a super narrow heel so these are the only tennis sneakers that don’t slip off my heel besides my Nike’s that were discontinued. I need a wider toe box & my toes don’t feel cramped at all. They are a little stiffer & less padded than my nikes were but they fit great & i wear my orthotics in them. I’ve already ordered back up pairs in case they get discontinued.

I actually liked the tongue on them. It felt good to have a tongue that had some padding but wasn't constricting. I also felt like it probably stayed in place well. Unfortunately, the toe box was too small and I ended up getting the Wilson Rush Pro 3.5s for about half the cost of the Lacoste shoes. I'll wait for the 9.5s to go down more in price. Which Nike model did you like? I'm a fan of the Zoom Zeros and 9.5s.

For some reason, I must've received a defective pair with the split tongue b/c they wore out so fast both on bottom & on top; the plastic piece actually cracked. SO far so good with the other model with the non split tongue & I've been able to buy 2 back up pairs for only $75 on sale. I just got this version with the pink which I love for only $75 I was obsessed with my Nike Zoom Vapor X Hc but they were discontinued & I've yet to find another nike tennis pair that fits the same way or that works for me sadly. https://www.holabirdsports.com/products/lacost-ag-lt-womens-white-light-pink

Received the second pair of the LT21 Ultra and the fit is the same as the first pair. I am not sure how anyone could comment that they run big. I am actually thinking to get the next pair maybe +1/2 size so I have flexibility with thicker socks.

No issues with these two and with Head Performance socks, medium thickness, especially after the break in after two sessions.

I got a pair of these on sale. Id say my feet are in between a D and a 2E. These do not feel narrow to me. They feel just exactly right. These have become my go to match and practice shoes, love the way they feel and slide on hardcourt.

I ordered another pair of an older colorway. Potentially they did a shadow change in the fit, will come back and let you know!

Edit i think my pair that wore out was meant for clay courts which would explain why they wore out so fast since i play on hard court. Now i actually also ordered a new clay court pair for my clay court matches

TLDR:

My 1st pair: 2022 July Release: White, Blue, Volt = Fits great in the forefoot. I love it
My 2nd pair: 2022 Feb Release: White, Red, Orange = Fits almost the same, its stiffer, appears to use different material for drag protection to cause stiffness which can lead to a more hugged feeling. Only time will tell if it loosens up.


Non Scientific Analysis:
Okay the 2nd pair came in, play tested in both the 1st pair and the 2nd new pair this morning. They fit just about the same, with the 2nd feeling stiffer. The 2nd pair, the uppers feel stiffer which gives me the perceived of potentially being a little narrow. I did not have heatspots or rubbing due to typically narrow shoes like a GP turbo.

The only discernable difference is the material used for the upper drag protection. They switched from a softer colored plastic to a clear hard plastic. Potentially this stiffness causes the shoe feel like it encases your feet a bit more. So the break in time could be longer for the material to be more pliable and stretch.

So this happened today lol......I think spring/summer weather plus the friction from sliding on hardcourts caused the shoe glue to melt. .....LT 23 here I come?

I had some new old stock Vapor 9.5s that had been sitting in my closet for a while. Took em out first few hits and the instant it turned 90+ degrees outside glue completely melted and sole started shifting and could be peeled off

TBH I think it's Lacoste b/c I had one bad experience on the 1st pair I got & now some peeling on the 2nd pair. Regardless I'm sticking with them b/c it's hard for me to find tennis sneakers that don't slip off my heel.

Well a few updates:

2nd pair - after break in, the fit is the same in terms of width (between a D and 2E). With my over the counter Move Game Day Insoles, it slightly elevates my heel for additional comfort. I like it!

1st pair (defective) - TW has agreed to replace it for me free of charge mainly due to the time it took to break, 2-3 weeks. Good on them!

I’ve noticed lately a lot of the sizing seems off with shoes. The 13 is too small for me and the 14 is too big. The 13 in these fits my foot like a glove. I’ve got about 15 hours in with them on hard court and love this new offering from Lacoste.

Has anyone tried their light shoe? It looks a bit like a cross between ubersonic 2 and sprint pro
