Lacoste AG-LT23 Ultra Is A Clay Shoe?

On Tennis Point, they are listing the orange color version of this shoe as being clay shoes. I looked at Tennis Exp and TW and neither is listed as such. On the photos on TP, I am not seeing any difference in the tread design or depth. I recently purchased the white version of this shoe from TW with the understanding it was for hard courts. I would love if I could play this on Har-Tru as well as hard courts since those are courts near me. I would also not mind buying the clay version as well.

Can someone from the TW staff clarify this?

Note while I am aware this shoe has a herring-bone tread design, I just recently recovered from a bad fall on my back which resulted in being a neck brace for a few days and I rather have certainty that I am using the right shoes for the surface I am playing at.

Thanks!!

just bought them for the ‘green clay’ will see if you’re right lol…are they comfortable?
I guess it depends on your feet. I'm 6'3 and 230 lbs with normal width and high arch feet. I found them very comfortable and would love to get them in orange. With that said my one critique is I wish they wrap around my foot a tad more. I like a more snug fit which I gotten on my Nike Court Zoom NXT and the new New Balance CT-Rally. I have not played with the Lacoste on hard courts yet so I can't comment how much squeaking they do which honestly would probably annoy me. Regardless it is a very stable and attractive shoe.

pretty stable so far testing on my self powered tredmill. one thing is for sure, they lock in the heel. feel more secure than gelres 9’s….but they are also a lot heavier. tough call here. very nice quality though
