Time for a hitting session in Belgrade.

This is cringe any way you slice it

Good to see that Lacoste is making more efforts to rep their guy though he deserves more honestly, I was in town for Wimbledon recently and walking around the city I couldn’t find anything of him. Guy won and made a final in the two years before that you gotta run with superstars like that, it’s like fed w uniqlo

Its very sad to see and reeks of desperation of a player who cannot accept he isn't seen the way he so obviously wants to be.

Media, My friend it is media that can make a person far more better than what he actually was. Like beauty parlour media can apply coats and coats of greatness to players.
Fedrer nadal rivalry caught so much media attention that novak acheivements were sidelined for long times.
No disrespect to fedrer and nadal both were great players and 20 and 22 slams are great acheivement but
A player who has 24 slams and better H2H against both fedrer and rafa is automatically greater than both.
Sometime you instantly realise the greatness as in case of roger and rafa . Sometime it take time to realise how good third person was.
To give an example if you like cricket.
Jacque kallis a south african crickter does not get that much popularity than brain lara or bret lee but his numbers are better than both combined . Made more run than lara and more wickets than bret lee . But nobody seems to call him greater than brain lara or bret lee.

Problem is Djokovic didn't surpass Fedal while at their best. He was always no.3. OK with Federer that's largely as there was a huge age gap but v Nadal no reason why he remained behind Nadal until he de facto retired in 2022.

Djokovic surpassed Nadal in '11! Do you not remember 7 straight wins of Djokovic over Nadal? And Djokovic remained on top over their respective careers! That's why Djokovic had the most weeks as #1, and Nadal the most week as #2, in history! Without Djokovic, Nadal was almost guaranteed the most weeks as #1!

And it makes sense, since Djokovic dominated at two slams, whereas Nadal just one!

and e all know what happened in 2022 (and W20) and that nole would have slam record sooner if not for politics

he said that it is the first of many such projects that are coming all over the serbia by lacoste and his fondation! i hope it will be so.

Djokovic lost his Uniglo contract, and Federer gained his about the same time. I dunno if the two had anything to do with another. I knew another tennis player (Kei Nishikori) was endorsed by them. In golf, they sponsor at least one player, Adam Scott. There are several Japanese players, so they must endorse one of them.

Where were you 2012, 2013,2014? Did youstop watching?
Weeks at no.1 is an irrelevant statistic measuring Greatness as it defines consistency. Sinner has been no.1 longer than Alcaraz. To date Alcaraz is the greater player.
Nadal dominated 2 slams...USO in the 2010's he won half the ones he played in while his main rivals were all active. Djokovic won 5 of his Wimbledons when his main rivals were either not playing or injured. But, if that is your yardstick, then neither Nadal or Djokovic are the greatest, its Federer. He is record holder at 2 slams. So i guess pick your poison.

Lol, Nadal didn't dominate at the USO.
Federer holds the record for 1 slam, shares the record for another. By your logic, Novak can become the record holder for 3 slams this year...
Novak has won 6 Wimbledons where his biggest rivals participated healthy and strong.

Yes, Djokovic could be record holder at 3 slams this year. He wont be, but he is one away from holding the record at W and USO, jointly is still having a record.
Nadal won 4 USO's between 2010-2019. Thats domination even if playing every season, but he actually missed 2012, 2014, and got injured in 2018. Thats 4 from 7 when fit. People judge Nadal to a higher standard than other players and basically anything he did that fell short of his FO dominance was deemed average lol.

Wimbledon, Nadal got upset by non-stars year after year! Nadal was irrelevant at WB as he couldn't win a single semi-final since '11! You know that Djokovic owned the most glorious record vs Nadal: he had a 9-match and 19-set winning record against Nadal on HC! Could you imagine being Nadal, not being able to win a single set versus Djokovic since 2013!

You know why weeks at #1 is irrelevant to you? Because Nadal finished not at #1! If he did, you'd harp all day about it!

You are ridiculous, and I won't stoop to read any of your comments! Good-bye!

He won't have a record because he didn't break the record, he tied it, so two players will share the record at Wimbledon, while four will share it at USO.
Nadal was lucky at USO17 and USO19, nothing more than that. Novak dominated at USO.

Don't know what's your definition of domination, but Novak never won consecutive titles at the USO and his best record is winning two titles in the span of four years, three titles in eight years and that's hardly a domination.
Sampras winning three titles in four years (including a title defense), McEnroe/Lendl winning three in a row, Fed's five etc, is what I would call a dominant streak. I wouldn't even say that Connors dominated the USO, even though he was obviously better/more dominant than Djoko at the event.

Why are you getting upset? I am only stating facts. I asked you a question about 2012 2013 2014. You failed to answer. And you seem to think tennis started in 2011.
This 19 set thing you mention, how many of those were at the Slams, where Nadal brought his A game?
You see, you are not going to like the next decade or so as in Alcaraz we have a player with an identical mindset to Nadal, i.e he isnt interested in no.1 and consistency, he is all about winning slams and beating his biggest rivals at the slams. That much is very evident already.
