I will give it to Teef though...
even though he hit the ball twice, (with the change of ball direction) his reflexes were so fast, he confused almost everyone into thinking it was one hit.

Honestly Fed could play another year. Not sure what hes thinking. His serve placement is still better than damn near everyone else on tour and he isn't moving bad. That wins you free games alone

He really doesn't look like he's able to move that much
It would take a lot for him to get his movement back, most likely never happens.

I'd take whatever Fed I could get as long as he enjoyed the competition.

That seems a weird idea that it would be "inferior".

It's good he's not getting people's hopes up but it seems odd he wouldn't give himself (and us) the pleasure of seeing him in competition if it didn't strain the knee.

One of the interviews with Ljubicic there was a slight hint that he thought Fed might have made the decision too quickly. Might have been me misinterpreting though.

He's consistently said he wouldn't consider doubles after he retires from singles sadly.
I wonder why? Nowhere near as much pressure on the knees and the crowds would absolutely love to see it. If he found a high quality partner I could see him being quite successful. Martina was capable of playing at a decent enough level well into her forties so I don't see why Roger couldn't as well.

Would have to ask him lol.

Dude he can't even play from the baseline that's why Nadal is at the back the whole match. Guy is done physically, he can't put pressure on that knee.

Lets hope they can win this doubles for a great ending.

Martina won a Mixed Doubles Slam a month before her fiftieth birthday.

I'm kind of hoping that after a year or so he'll find the idea too hard to resist.

He looks ok to me for 41. LOL. Theres far more guys in their 20s that played worse this year from what I saw in the slams
You dont know what youre talking about, just making some good shots while not even moving doesnt mean you can play tournaments at that intensity, besides as the match went on, roger is playing like shait already
