Roger is gonna chew him outFancy tiafoe to do it here. He has the momentum and could be team worlds moment of glory. Let’s see if stef can regroup
Rod Laver looks umoved by the match. Then again he's probably done it all and seen it all,
Well, I personally know of a very spry 90-year + old man, so we're probably looking at this from very different points of view.At 84 that’s the case for most people.
His brain switches off, his legs turn to jelly and you know he’s desperately hoping for a gift from the opponent. He’s just so scared in the big points. I don’t think this can ever be fixed unfortunately.Crazy how I go from wanting Tsitsipas to win, to not wanting him to win another match in his career. Complete joke what he played on those MPs. Shot selection, execution, everything was pathetic
It was incredible! What a get from Tiafoe!
Match tiebreak kind of makes winning first set less valuable. Who loses it, to win the match needs to win the second, and just a bit more.
Winning team gets $250K each. You must live a very charmed life where $250K is totally meaningless. There are no ATP points but that doesn't mean it's meaningless or an exhibition. Wimbledon also had no points.
It's a partly invitational team tournament. I'd say Wimbledon was probably more of an exhibition this year than Laver Cup. LC for the most part takes the top ranked players in addition to a few who are there by invitation. So yeah, they are playing for money which makes it not an exhibition. It's a little more casual than a major but still not an exhibition.
This is so scripted but I'm enjoying it. Tsitsipas could have ended this long ago.
This is why Tsitsipas will never be a great player. Has all the talent, but simply no mental appetite. I’ve hardly ever seen him win close TBs where it was not gifted to him. He might be top 10 rank wise, but mentally he’s top 50.
It won't happen now anymore.I wonder how many people will stay for the blockbuster Fritz-Ruud match up.
