I enjoy the Laver Cup - and looks like the players do as well from previous outings.

Good job Head for backing a Team based event.

This year ROW has no chance against Europe

Roger, Thiem, Djokovic, Nadal, Daniil, Stefanos, Zverev

LMAO US and Canada have no talent

Considering that 9 of the top 10 are Euros, they should really consider changing the format. I just don't see Schwartzman and Shapovalov taking down Team Europe.

Maybe they should have GOAT v. Floundering Next Gen teams. Or Heros (Fed, Rafa, Thiem) vs. Villains (Novak, Medvedev and Zverev). I might watch something like that.

Format is fine. ROW just needs to improve. Taken big hits with the losses of prime Nishi and Del Potro, limited success of Americans and Aussies, the last decade plus.

I think maybe to give Team World a chance is to not have as many top ranking players on team Europe. Maybe not even invite Djokovic or Nadal this year. But this thing relies on star power so I really can’t see them doing that.

As a fan of the event, I'd say the format is limited in its very conception as Europe vs World.

They could've just made it Team McEnroe vs Team Borg for example and let them choose a mix of players from anywhere.

It could've been Laver-King cup (just an example) and included women as well and drawn more fan interest, especially now that Hopman cup is no more.

As it stands, other than seeing 2 of the Big 3 on the same side of the net, there isn't much competitive intrigue for this event, especially since many are still inclined to dismiss it as a mere exho and the organizers want spirited participation.

This is what I would do as well. Kind of like a school yard pick up game. Two captains. They start picking alternately till their teams are full. Would be sweet. All-star game like feel.

Boston is an interesting choice. It’s a hotspot for the American sports industry but I don’t think I’ve ever seen them host a tennis tournament before...especially not one where the worlds best players will be playing at

Let Team World have the Russians! Russia isn’t in Europe! Or is it?

Shapo, FAA, Raonic, Pospisil, Kyrgios, and Kokkinakis would be interesting. Maybe Opelka.
