Leagues/Tennis in Seattle

Hey guys -

I'm a 5.0-5.5 (just a guess...I have beaten several DIII and lower level DI players recently and have been competitive with some major conference players as well) moving out to Seattle in June and I'm totally lost on where to begin my search for tennis when I get there.

What are the leagues, tournaments, other tennis opportunities like? I'd love to meet a ton of people playing in a bunch of different things. I'd love to join a USTA league or similar team league as well. I'm open to any ideas!

Thanks so much for reading and any advice you might have!

Do you know where you will live/work in the area? If you are on the east side of lake Washington I would recommend Central Park Tennis as the best club.

I think I'm working to the west of Lake Washington but I'm not sure about where I'm going to live yet. I'm willing to drive a decent distance for better tennis though so thanks for the recommendation! Anything in particular you're basing it on? (like competition, facilities, etc?)

If you are west of the lake, Tennis Center Sand Point is a nice newer facility and a lot of tennis is played at Amy Yee, but facility is nippy in the winter.

Sent you a PM. I play at 6am on the Eastside every day, and I doubt you are interested in that; however, I have been in the 5.0 leagues here for a long time here and can pass your info along.
