Lendl v McEnroe

Its funny, but on tennisweek.com is a new short interview with McEnroe (for his upcoming 50th birthday). Most funny is the part about his RG loss to Lendl in 1984, that was the most painful loss in his life. He says, that Lendl turned around his career and won 6 or 7 majors. Ha,Ha, he simply ignores the 8 wins of Lendl. No love lost between these two after all those years.

You can't blame Lendl's on court behavior on Lendl, afterall BigMac and Jimbo pioneered it. The new kids just had to follow JimMac's lead in order to survive in that era just like today everyone needs to be like Federer and Nadal to survive. Give credit to Edberg and other gentlemen who didn't. :)
