Let's end the debate right now

Does it matter? If someone went to a special needs school, got held back 4 years straight, and then got the highest grade in the class would anyone care? If someone went to Chuck E. Cheese's for a 7 year old's birthday party and won the most prizes against the other 7 year olds would anyone care? That's basically what Federer and Nadal are doing, don't EVER tell me about their slam counts. All more inflated than a Macy's parade balloon.

I am recently much less confident than I used to be.

I guess whoever has the most, has the most. Our memes won't change anything.

That avatar is legendary man. You better follow it up with some seriously GOATing trolling.

Will you keep this act up until Fed wins another Halle?

The tone, the selective capitalising, the choice of words - unbelievable! It's almost like he never left us

I'm sure your insane and incessant invective makes you real popular with the ladies. Your dance card must be just bursting with names. It's OK, just wait your turn and make yourself real pretty. Someone will come a-calling.

It’s been fun seeing Federer fans talk about how much the major count means and now they are trying to pretend like it’s not as important or are trying to pretend that Nadal’s do not count for whatever reason they wish to make up.

Losing the major count would seal it and there’s no way around it.

If Djokovic has truly returned to his very best, Federer most likely wins the Slam Race.
Fedal may no longer add to their tally if Djokovic resumes domination. Except for Roland Garros where Nadal is forever the favourite.

Federer the most talented and skilled player ever to play the game, but i think Nadal will have more Grand Slams than him. That doesn't take away anything from Fed ofc. still magical, still unbeliveble.

Your post is very inspiring.

In fact I shall pick myself off my couch and hobble to the courts and win a few slams just to show that winning them is no more a big deal than winning a gift toy at the local Christmas Fair.

That'll be enough for him. Three more RG's and maybe one or two more elsewhere and he's got Roger's slam count.

It looks like AO 18 was Roger's last.

How do you figure that? Federer had MP and lost 13-11 in the 5th set against the world #6 in the QF. He's in a position to win many more Slams considering nobody in the first week can challenge him. More the fault of the young guys unable to step up. It takes an exceptional performance to beat Federer even now. Anderson had his day. Move on to the next Slam.
